"Experts" pick Giants
This week, 10 out of 12 talking heads pick the Giants.
http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks
This is the Giants that were embarrassed last week, and has as many injuries as the Ravens. Am I missing something, or is this the usual New York ESPN bias?

Re: "Experts" pick Giants
The experts are right. They have a real HOF coach, real QB who can read defenses, and a DLine that can get to the QB.

Wish they hadn't been shut out last week. Now it's a must win for them. Plus look at our anemic offense which got worse when they got rid of the alleged problem

Re: "Experts" pick Giants
PFT posted a story that Justin Tuck may be out. Would be a boost to the Ravens.

Re: "Experts" pick Giants
Also, 2 lineman out, Tuck, Bradshaw, terrible Lb's, injured weak corners. Plus havent had much of a pass rush for about a month now. Gnats year was last year, not this one.

Re: "Experts" pick Giants
Worse? Denver has a much better defense than any other team the Ravens have played. Denver gives up less points per game than any team the Ravens have played all season. 5th in PPG against.
I think they looked a lot worse with Cam against KC, one of the worst defenses in the league.

Re: "Experts" pick Giants
That was a road game, Rice had over 100 yards and keep in mind KC almost won in Pitt.
But I agree Denver's D makes a lot of teams look average. This team has been unbeatable at home, they need to get back to protecting the house and give Rice a chance to get a rhythm, not 12 carries.World Domination 3 Points at a Time!

Re: "Experts" pick Giants
If the Ravens lose this game to a declining Giants team, they are done for the year. This is the kind of statement game that they must win if they have any chance in the playoffs. Plus a loss makes it likely they will lose the AFC North to the Steelers.

Re: "Experts" pick Giants
Yes, because every team the Ravens have played this year typically played right to their M.O. when facing our injured D and uncreative offense.
Because the Redskins who have the same record as the Giants but a worse defense didn't beat us with some random back-up who wasn't Eli Manning.
Because the Steelers who have a worse record than the Giants didn't beat us with some random back-up who wasn't Eli Manning.Super Bowl XLVII, As Seen By Ravens Fans (GIFs)

What have we done in the past month for anyone to think we should be favored a 4-29 gift away from a 4 game losing streak

Re: "Experts" pick Giants
When will you guys learn that anything can happen in this league? I wont be surprised if we demolish the Giants this week at home, and wont be surprised if they demolish us.
Every single ''expert'' picked us to beat the Steelers a few weeks back, and that got smacked right back in their faces. The truth is, apart from a few inside sources that we don't have, they really don't know more than a lot of us about football, apart from the ex players.

Yep I agree nothing would surprise me. It's not like the Giants are coming in on a roll but I've seen little that makes me feel good about our chances outside of Tuck may not play, and Grubbs and Torrey are practicing

I didn't realize the Bengals beating the Giants would be so devastating. Giants have seemed "butt hurt" ever since.
Falcons gave them a payback thumping last week. I'm sure they're plenty pissed. Too close to call.

Re: "Experts" pick Giants
People are forgetting that are TWO desperate teams playing this week. The Ravens are playing for pride now. At least the Giants got their asses kicked on the road, the Ravens got their asses kicked in front of their home fans. This will not be a walk in the park for the Giants.
