Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
McNair was/is a 33 million dollar mistake. That guy has been a loser the past 3 yearsl.
This is a novel I was asked to proofread. The author is giving 10% of the profits to kidney research, which is a big deal in the Darb household. Fair warning; it's a fantasy novel, and the main characters are lesbians. It's three bucks on kindle from Amazon.http://www.amazon.com/WINDOWS-BROKEN...ken+fairy+tale

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
W.....T.....F????????
My guess is he wanted to throw it away, but Jammer got up quick enough to catch it. McNair definitley had a "damn, that was stupid" look on his face..

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
Had to be a miscommunication. His receiver probably broke off the route and McNair thought he was going to go deep.

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
Looked like a route mixup.
1st, LdT for 5.
2nd and 5, Tomlinson for 4.
3rd and 1, WTF, backwards pass to Tomlinson, Suggs loses a Helmet and Tomlinson is absolutely blown up by 3-4 Ravens. OK!

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
It's nice to see the Ravens aren't the only ones who can make scratch your head playcalls.

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
Mike Carey is the Ref? We're boned. How exactly do you block in the back if there is no return?
I hate that guy and wish nothing but pain and suffering on his family. This is a novel I was asked to proofread. I totally agree with you on Carey, Darb. That guy is a detriment to the NFL.

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
Passes like those make me truly wonder if Steve McNair still has enough left in the tank...And then he rifles one in to Mason and we cost ourselves the first down with the penalty...CLASSIC!

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
Touchback + penalty, ball at the 10.
1st, Jamal tiptoes, but still gets 4. If only he hit the holes, he'd have so much more push.
2nd and 6, McNair has to throw it away.
3rd, complete to Mason for 13 to the 27. Call on Ogden for illegal formation. Ugh.
3rd and 11, McNair avoids a safety, has to dump to Musa for 1.
Fucking penalties! Ogden didn't like the call at all either.
Fair catch at the 44.

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
all these penalties just utterly kill our offense. We have no chance if we keep giving them mistakes.

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
I thought I heard that Carey lives in San Diego too. Funny, I thought he lived in Detroit??? Either way, we're fucked.

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
We didn't see the replay, but Ogden sure as hell didn't think that call was correct. Did you see his reaction?
Missed tackles are a plague........
