Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
1st, Turner slips through a hole, eludes tackles and gets 19. He is FAST.
1st from the Ravens 33, Turner for 4.
2nd and 6, Turner for 2-3. Late push got him the extra.
2 minute warning.

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
either way, we're not looking good, they figured out how to deal with our D...and our offense is still bungling along.

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
If we get to the half giving up 3 or less here, we'll be OK with the adjustments on D. The O has never really made adjustments, so I worry about that a lot.

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
The defense will adjust...The offense just has to hold their own with a few extended drives that bear fruit (points)...

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
3rd and 4, false start.
3rd and 9, Ray Ray comes on the blitz, and the pass is overthrown and behind Tomlinson.
FG attempt here! 54 yard try good, unbelievable. Had no idea that was even in FG range.
13-7 Chargers.

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
Well this is now an insurmountable lead.
So do we blame Billick for the worst offense in the league, or do we blame Ozzie for not getting any offensive linemen? This is a novel I was asked to proofread. The author is giving 10% of the profits to kidney research, which is a big deal in the Darb household. Fair warning; it's a fantasy novel, and the main characters are lesbians. It's three bucks on kindle from Amazon.http://www.amazon.com/WINDOWS-BROKEN...ken+fairy+tale

Touchback on the kick. Will they try for a drive?

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
I'm not sure you can count on being able to put together too many long drives against the Chargers' D. They might have to hit a big play or two. If there is a weakness in the Chargers' D, it's their secondary. Just have to hope McNair can get enough time.
Getting points here would be big.

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
I'm having the feeling that the winds of fate will make or break us today...That kick was reminiscent of Stover's wind-aided heartstopper last week in Cleveland.

All time ots left and 1.51....almost have to, even though we get the ball first in the second half

1st, 1:51 left, give to Musa for 8-9.
2nd and 1, give to Jamal for 4. TO now. They weren't even trying.

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
right, we seem to be able to do the 2 minute drill well, so let's see what we can do.
Sometimes I wonder why that's true? ....and why we can't run like that all the time

My dreams of a deep passing game and an effective 2-minute drill are turning into a nightmare...

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
1st, 1:12 left, pass dropped by Heap. Not a great throw either.
2nd, 1:07 left, McNair eludes pressure, pass batted down. Holding on Flynn. LOL, get him out of there.
2nd and 20, 1:03 left, Merriman had McNair in his grasp, but he gets the ball away. Protection is awful for 6 DBs in.
Delay of game. God.
3rd and 25, give to Anderson for 1.
SD takes a TO with 51s left.

Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
Screw it.
It's time to bring in Boller. If our offense is going to suck, let's at least get the guy who can throw INTs 50 yards down field instead of 20.This is a novel I was asked to proofread. Re: GAME THREAD - Chargers/Ravens
O-line coach, who is terrible and got fired from Miami...needs to go. Start from there. Players aren't graet, but ever since he's been here, the line can't even run block.
