Re: Props To Caldwell
League rules, just not allowed
Good article on it here
http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/sport...sideline_N.htm
In the NFL, 22 play-callers work from field level and 10 operate in boxes overlooking the field.

Re: Props To Caldwell
Easily the best they looked all year, having Dickson back helps with 2 threats at TE, moving Boldin to slot guy and Jones outside made a big difference. Also, allowing Joe to call the game at his pace helped as well. It was a different game plan, and very unpredictable. Should of been more points if not for HORRIBLE officiating. They even rolled Joe around the pocket a few times as well. Went empty backfield only once, and it failed as usual. Didnt get why they didnt Hail Mary with 5 seconds before the half at the 50 (made no sense). Good performance.

Re: Props To Caldwell
I think the gameplan was implemented during the week moreso than any week. You could tell they went after a weakness and never let up on it. UNLIKE CAM.

Re: Props To Caldwell
The TD pass to Rice summed up well the difference between this offensive play calling and the previous one.

Re: Props To Caldwell
That is the best the Ravens have looked all year. A glimmer of hope going into the playoffs!

Re: Props To Caldwell
What you saw was gameplanning vs a teams weakness, then adjusting or just sticking to what's working. Cam NEVER played to a teams weakness. This game was won in the film room.

Re: Props To Caldwell
Yep. And the funny part is that Joe had two options there. Pitta was also wide open next to Rice moving right while Rice moved forward. If Joe didn't like hitting Rice there, Pitta would have been a sure first down too. Imagine that. 2nd and 5, and there guys at the first down marker instead of everyone downfield.

They were working at the highest speed I have ever seen from our offense.

Re: Props To Caldwell
The one thing I saw was a moving pocket. Getting Flacco to move around. That certainly helps with a weak OL.
