But why? There seems to be a trend in the league of going after the younger coaches. Maybe they're out there, but I cannot think of a team where Reid is a good fit at the moment.
The Browns? Banner is already there....and let's be real, ANY coach that has had some success in the past would be a good fit (and upgrade) for the Browns.

there's no way Reid has had time to make peace with that issue, it would seem like he wants to bury himself in work to avoid facing it.

The Cleveland Browns are expected to aggressively pursue Oregon head coach Chip Kelly.
The Cleveland Browns reportedly have four candidates in mind for their head coaching vacancy, including two from the pro and college ranks. New Orleans Saints offensive line coach Aaron Kromer is considered a candidate.

It would make sense for him to be an O/C but i think he'll have a good chance at an H/C job... Browns are probably going to interview every H/C that was fired from the other teams.

Had to laugh at this line in that article:

If the Jets did not exist, we would simply have to invent them.
    So, so true.

Being an assistant or any thing other than Bill Bilecheck in NE is the easiest Job ever, Bill runs that whole operation he is God and Brady is Jesus there. These assistants and staff people.leave for other jobs thinking they can take a little of that with them and it never works out Bilecheck has work too hard to let any assistant go somehwere else to duplicate his success. So they fail and they fail miserably.

Defending Pees in the face of the worst defensive performance in Ravens history? No thanks ... he does not deserve a 2nd chance.

That's fair.....but....are you going to defend the GM, the head scout and his scouts since that defensive coordinator has had the worst talent @ interior defensive line & LB in Raven history?

Jets have confirmed that Rex will return according to NFL.com

I posted before; he had to go into every game with a gameplan to win with running the ball and defense. They had no threat of a passing attack. Like fighting with one arm tied behind your back.

They need to at least get some pieces on the offensive side of the ball and a good OC

Thus far 5 coaches and 3 gms fired today. Anyone know the record for most coaches and GMs fired on Black Monday or just in the offseason in general?

Not sure, but it will have be close. I want to say the year the Ravens fired Marchibroda and hired Billick, that there were 10 coaching changes...and that was the record at that time. Totally a guess, though.
