As the coaching carousel winds on...I think Caldwell is the most likely candidate at OC next year. Easily.

No. Weaver fired Del Rio after the deal was announced but before Khan bought the team. Weaver got Khan's approval before he made that move. Many thought that it was a handshake deal between Weaver and Khan. Mularkey was Khan's first hire since he kept Gene Smith the GM in place.

Nah, but I did hear him speculate earlier that he will hire an OC, but call the plays himself. And wouldn't comment on Horton, but I would be shocked if he didn't retain him. Mel Tucker of the Jags is moving on from there, guess getting turned down 2 times in 2 years pissed him off (rightfully so)

Tucker did a lot with very little for a long time.

Ray Horton is out as the DC in Arizona. They hired Todd Bowles to replace Horton (wtf?!).

If Baltimore would consider it, I would LOVE to have Horton come here to run the D.

    Horton to Cleveland is imminent.

Horton was more pissed than Mel Tucker. I'm betting Clyde Christensen is named OC shortly with the Colts. He's the guy who called the plays in the Wild Card game.

So, Cleveland have Norv Turner and perhaps Norton as co-ordinators? Not a bad selection, to be fair.

Very true. Chud as the HC is a big head scratcher though.

If I were Cleveland, I would have hired Lovie Smith as the HC over Chud and then targeted Norv and Horton.

Why did Pitt ever fire Arians? I watched his press conference. I love his no nonsense style.

My biggest worry this offseason was that the Browns would hire Lovie Smith. Glad they are still the Browns despite the new ownership.

Yea, but they just officially hired Ray Horton as their new DC.

Now, I don't think Chud is a good choice...but Norv and Horton are good coordinators. That is actually a pretty solid coaching staff...even with Chud. Browns might roll back to the 3-4.

They also hired Lombardi as player personnel guy when he's never done that. I guess he can't do much worse than they botched things last year IMO
