I disagree. Flacco would be the one getting "tuned up" against that pass rush (I say this thinking that Yanda is sitting as well).

Funny, I am sitting here with my 4 year old son and he said "look that's Phineas and Ferb, but the evil one". Is that right?

This game has no meaning to the Ravens at all. It is basically a bye. They have been gameplanning for Indy, not the Bengals whom they know. The Ravens under Harbaugh are perfect after a bye and should treat it as one, this team needs a rest. Let all your deep bench players play the lionshare and give a few not important starters down the food chain get reps. Good way to see what those players can do and gives you more evaluation of those guys heading into the draft and offseason.

@AdamSchefter: Last second change with the Ravens. Ravens running back Ray Rice is active and is going to play a series or two.

What makes you think RR isn't dying to play? No way he asked for the rest!

Knew that Doss would be out, but it's still disappointing. Wanted to see if he could play a bigger role in the offense with Q out. Looks like Jacoby and Torrey, with Deonte and David Reed, is our depth chart at WR today.

Bengals Inactives: CB Terence Newman, CB Jason Allen, WR Dane Sanzenbacher, , S George Iloka, DT Devon Still, DT Brandon Thompson, TE Quinn

Looks like Bengals going for it. Bit disappointed the Ravens are essentially taking the bye or so it looks.

May as well sit Torrey today now

This makes me furious. We just came off a three game losing streak! The hot team wins in the playoffs and we're resting everyone? What if new england loses their game later on today? Terrible decision harbs, absolutely terrible

If we were a healthy team, I'd agree with you.

Hard to generate serious momentum when many of your star players are dinged up.

    Getting healthy > Momentum.

Nope...you'd almost have NOBODY at WR. Reed and Deonte are the second stringers today. Let that sink in for a min...Reed has one career catch. Deonte...does he have any?

The Pats are playing a snow game vs Dolphins.

Pats in the snow usually makes them Madden Rookie Level blowouts.

I would bet you 50 dollars the Pats win today EASY.

One big injury in a meaningless game and I'm sure that playing the starters would have also made you furious.

Re: Ray (Rice) not expected to play

I assume Harbaugh discussed it with his players. It's usually a team decision, and I can't blame them for wanting a week to heal. This isn't like when Indy rested against the Jets. They weren't banged up to the degree we were. We need the rest. This team does better on rest.

Why risk Flacco getting smashed all game by Geno Atkins? At any rate I don't look at it as resting the starters so much as it is giving backups more playing time should they be needed in the playoffs.

I'm sure after the Giants game they're confident in what their offense can do now. This also might be a coaching advantage. Our staff is already familiar with what Pagano and Arians do. But now there's only going to be footage of 2 games of us under Caldwell with our starters.

I really don't care about stats and I don't think Harbs does either.

If you're going to sit all of the stars, they should go all the way. Can't afford Torrey getting more hurt than he already is.

Lewis, Suggs, Boldin, Ngata, Pollard, Yanda, and Doss all have injuries. Not sure what the problem is...I could see your argument if they were completely healthy.

I figured Suggs wasn't playing because he didn't say BEAST.MODE. on his Facebook page today.
