Re: Ray Lewis to retire.
Nothing against #Chuckstrong (for obvious reasons), but the emotional pendulum just swung back into our favor big time... Sunday is going to be an unreal day.. especially if Ray actually plays.

Re: Ray Lewis to retire.
I think we all knew it would happen but man, it's really to tough to actually know that it's going to happen. This will mark the end of the 1st age of the Ravens. It will never be the same again

Re: Ray Lewis to retire.
Not many NFL players get their number retired by their teams but you have to think nobody will ever wear 52 in Baltimore ever again.

Man... I'm very sad to hear it, even though there was a good chance this would happen. I hope we can make one last run for Ray, and Ed.

I think we all knew this was coming but man it still makes me sad, glad to have a legend go out in his own terms as a Raven.

Everyone knew this day will come.
And now that it's here, I think I'm going to cry.

Re: Ray Lewis to retire.
Someone needs to start a campaign to get CBS to air his final entrance live for their broadcast on Sunday.

Re: Ray Lewis to retire.
Sad day that we all knew was coming. I guess actually hearing it makes it settle in more and is hard to believe. He HAS to play Sunday. Most likely his LAST chance at a home game!!! Even if he miss some snaps, he HAS to play!
What does this do the Cap situation?

Re: Ray Lewis to retire.
Let's leave discussion about the impact on the cap and his level of play until the offseason. This Sunday (and the rest of the postseason) is about giving the greatest linebacker ever to play in this league the respect he deserves.

Re: WNST Reports Ray Lewis Will Retire After 2012 Season
I knew this was coming, but wasn't sure how it would hit me. It's like losing a loved one. I hope he comes back as a coach one day or stays involved with the Ravens. No one impacts a team like Ray impacts Baltimore and they're going to play their hearts out for Ray Sunday, and the rest of the PO's. This was the right time for Ray to retire

Ray Lewis is ready to retire after the playoffs. He'll watch his son at Miami, work on TV and wait for a bust in Canton http://wp.me/p14QSB-6RAy
