He obviously isnt comfortable with the offense yet.One telling thing was the wristband he had to use to make sure he had the right play,if you know the plays there is no need for that.

All I can saqy is that if this offense(ive line) could put together 4 quarters of football together instead of 1 we would be unstoppable.

It's like I said in the gamethread as I was leaving the stadium. For the time being I am just going to accept the fact that our defense needs to keep us within one score through the first 3 and 3/4's quarters. This offense needs 57-59 minutes to get it's traction.

But if we go 7-0 doing it before we have to play Pittsburgh and Cincy, then that will be great!!

Our offense is like an old car,it takes forever to get warmed up.
It looks like crap.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph . . . this offense is about as bad as I've ever seen . . . 4-0 not withstanding. Is there some reason we can't do what we do in the last 3 seconds of the game in the first quarter of a game? I'm sorry, but I'm not impressed with anything offensive this year. (of course I've felt that way for years now).

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm really grateful that McNair got us out of that hole at the end, but I wish he and the offense hadn't dug it in the first place. Our offense CAN'T be this bad at Denver, I hope. I want to be in an enemy stadium and have my Ravens win for a change.

We stole one today. SD didn't put us away when then could of. But who cares. Lord knows we have lost many the same way.

McNair himself said that at Tennesee they had 1 or 2 formations for each play, but here they have 8-10. He just hasn't learned the plays yet, doesn't have the timing down with the routes and receivers, and on top of that, Jamal Lewis and the running game are sputtering big time.

The offense will start to look better after they have half a season under their belt or so for McNair to get comfortable.

Just look at Mark Brunell's first season with the Skins as a perfect example, coming to a new team after playing with a different one for 9 years.

In 9 games he had a 49.8 completion percentage, 7 TD's and 6 INTs and a 63.9 QB rating. After a full year in the system he came back with a big year.

Also the difference between McNair's first year here, and Brunell's first year there is that the Ravens are winning and the Redskins were not at that time.

It takes all QB's time to become comfortable with a new system, and expecially after McNair has been with one team for 11 years. Its like going to one job for 11 years, then all of the sudden you have to go to another job somewhere else, its a tough transition at first but then you get used to it.

Right now I am happy that Steve is winning us games, However I admit that he needs to improve his play and I am very opitimistic that he will.
