If you decide to go into Boston, or closer yet Providence, they are relatively big cities with a few bad sections. It's worth going to the Italian sections to get good food. If you do, wear your Ravens gear!

I live in Western MA, about an hour 15 from the Foxboro, it's in the middle of empty space, highway in and out. The Ravens stayed in Providence RI last NE playoff game, (my daughter by luck was at Providence Place and saw them)

Providence is a nice place to stay as is most of Boston, just expensive as heck. Better off looking in RI or nice NE towns like Sturbridge. The Providence airport is great for accessability too.

My flight hotel and transportation is booked. Just have to confirm the ticket.

Note: To those of you who haven't been to Gillette its a bitch to get in and out of so get there early. Also Patriots fans can be big time assholes especially given what's at stake. Most though are ok.

UK, you could try the casinos in Biloxi, Mississippi like the Beau Rivage and Hard Rock. Its an hours drive from Biloxi to the Super Dome but the hotels are nice......there are also a lot of motels in Metarie by the airport that may not be booked but probably will raise their rates. Closer, but not as nice as Biloxi.

dam that's a great deal for those so close I paid $900 for 4 seats like that at Ray's game. How are they about camera's up there? There's a chance I might going with a friend who has upper level seats for $275 and was thinking about taking my camera again. I haven't even finished the ones from the last game yet too focused on playoff fever

Arnie: As a frequent traveler to New Orleans and former resident, my best advice is to get to work now work on hotels & rental cars (if you don't stay downtown or near the airport). We will stay with friends at Bayou Barataria, to avoid getting ripped off by the downtown New Orleans hotels.

As suggested by NOLARavenFAN, look at the Missisippi casinos for typically good deals on lodging. There are also many non-casino hotels along the out-of-season Mississippi beachfront, where you can often get great deals, but will have to have a rental car. If you do Mississippi, look at alternate airports, not so much for the ease of access, but to avoid the New Orleans Intl - Moisant - Louis Armstrong airport rental car price rip-off. Southwest now flies to Panama City Beach.

Another option would be to stay at one of the NOLA airport hotels, catch an airport shuttle to downtown to avoid rental car price-gouge and the major hassle to finding safe & adequate parking downtown. I typically stay at the Airport Hilton, Radisson, or Crown Royal as reasonably priced (compared to downtown), reasonably good quality hotels.

If you want to go to a downtown hotel, you may find it challenging to get a room, especially during Super Bowl weekend. We rarely stay downtown except for timeshare condos, so perhaps someone with more downtown hotel experience can address. We have stayed at the Doubletree on Canal Street - great access to the French Quarter and within a long walk to the Superdome (or a short walk coupled with a Red Line streetcar ride up Canal).

If you have never visited New Orleans and have some $$$ to blow, look at one of the boutique hotels in the French Quarter. The Royal Sonesta is outstanding, but likely filled by now. Last Winter, for $89/night we stayed at the renovated historic building Maison Dupuy hotel, just a block from Bourbon Street and a few blocks to Jackson Square. Doubtful you's see that rate on Super Bowl weekend, but it would be worth a shot.

Finally, if you want to see what it's like in the Louisiana swamps, try the Victoria Inn, which is typically priced under $100. It is about 1/2 hour to downtown. I will be staying within a mile of the Inn.
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

Damn nice seats. I'm ding the Nestor trip so dunno where my tickets will be till Saturday morning. I don't even care. At halftime when all the Pat's fans start leaving we'll just move down to the LL, and work closer and closer to the bench throughout the second half. At the buzzer I will be front row behind our bench lol.

Dude, that's impossible. You sure the tickets are legit. Make sure you buddy is not able to peel off the back of the tickets otherwise it's not legit.
