Re: Mulitalo has possible torn Tricep
Not at all good -- but perhaps there is a silver lining if we can get some of the younger guys to show their stuff

Re: Mulitalo has possible torn Tricep
If he had to miss a game, I would actually have Terry play LT and Ogden play LG (his original position)
and of course substitute Brown for Vincent just for the heck of it

Re: Mulitalo has possible torn Tricep
It wouldnt be that bad if it was on the other side of the line, its probably pretty much a wash now instead of an upgrade if it was Flynn or Vincent. The way he was holding his arm after that play it didnt look good at all.

Is it wrong that I wish it had been Flynn instead?

Re: Mulitalo has possible torn Tricep
If he has a torn tricep he will be missing more than a game I can tell you that.At least we will finally get to see what Brown is all about now, should help that he is next to a hall of famer in Ogden.

Re: Mulitalo has possible torn Tricep
Torn tricep is bad news, folks. Isn't that what happened to Leon Searcy in 2001? That was a season-ending injury. Career-ending, actually.

Re: Mulitalo has possible torn Tricep
Mule tore his triceps at the end of the 04 season. I wouldnt count it career ending but the man doesnt have a lot of years left to be dealing with this

Re: Mulitalo has possible torn Tricep
If it's a torn tricep, he is done for the season most likely, and Brown would probably be the LG for the remainder of the season.
It's a shame for Mulitalo, because he worked his ass off in the offseason to come back this season.

Re: Mulitalo has possible torn Tricep
You could tell Mulitalo had worked hard this offseason and it showed, he was playing better than either of the last two seasons (both of which were subpar).
And it sucks (although expected) that it's because of an injury that we'll see our first extended look at Jason Brown. He's the only one of the three younger lineman that I think is even close to being ready to step in and play, so I guess from that standpoint, things could have been worse.

Re: Mulitalo has possible torn Tricep
it'd be more likely to see Terry at LG than Ogden...
Most likely, Jason Brown gets his chance to start now. But this does worry me....MUCH.

Re: Mulitalo has possible torn Tricep
I don't think Terry's close to being ready (not sure he'll ever be) and as far as your question about Chester, he could definitely do worse than Flynn and probably Vincent as well, and that's not to say that I think either are top notch players. I just don't think he's physically ready yet. He nees this year in the weight room.

Re: Mulitalo has possible torn Tricep
If Terry needs a year in the weight room, then Chester needs one as well.I just don't think he's physically ready yet. He nees this year in the weight room.
It's been said that Terry's biggest issue is the lack of a killer instinct.
