Bart Scott is definitely attracting attention with his play -- that was a sweet, sweet runback after the interception.

Re: Bart Scott: 15 tackles 1 int
All week we heard about Shawn "No Show" Merriman. The guy ended up with 2 tackles and 1 sacks. He was basically invisible on the field. I'll take any one of our 3 linebackers over him.

Re: Bart Scott: 15 tackles 1 int
After the game Bart was talking about how his dream was to be introduced infront of 70k fans. When we were down he told his teammates that in his dream he doesnt lose.
Bart Scott is quickly becoming one of my favorite Ravens."This year, our attitude when we’re on the field is we’re attacking, we want to put points on the board and then let our defense pin their ears back and have at it."

Re: Bart Scott: 15 tackles 1 int
Bart Scott deserves MAJOR props for today's game. The sports shows are starting to notice him more and are saying that the media better start keeping an eye on him and that Ray is not the only force to be reckoned with.

Not just Merriman being the next Ray Lewis, what about Antonio Gates watching Todd Heap take it in for the win? That was pretty funny too.

I'm a bit torn.
I'm getting a PS3 before Christmas, so I'll probably need some games for it.
Of course I also want Scott, Stover and AD jerseys.
Decisions, decisions. This is a novel I was asked to proofread. The author is giving 10% of the profits to kidney research, which is a big deal in the Darb household. Fair warning; it's a fantasy novel, and the main characters are lesbians. It's three bucks on kindle from Amazon.http://www.amazon.com/WINDOWS-BROKEN...ken+fairy+tale

I think Bart Scott has taken over AD's title as the Most Underrated Player InThe NFL. Scott is even an upgrade over Hartwell. Looks as if we have found Ray's heir apparent in Scott.
It's a new season! It's a new day!

Re: Bart Scott: 15 tackles 1 int
Scott is a weak side linebacker and didn't fill in for Ray in the middle when he went down last year, Polley played MLB from what I can remember and Scott played pretty much exclusively on the weak side as he has this year, I don't think Scott is Ray's heir apparent, he's Bart Scott our present and future playmaker at the weak side linebacker position.

Bart Scott is my favorite Raven. I purchased a Scott jersey in June and will be wearing it to all of the home games this year. You gotta love this guy.

Re: Bart Scott: 15 tackles 1 int
Bart Scott is a throwback to the old NFL. He let's his playing do his talking. No pounding of the chest or jumping around. He is very level headed & seems like a nice guy in person. I met him at Pizza Johns last year & he seemed very personable & took time to talk to the kids. He is someone who was an UFA, had to earn what he got, & still has the fire after getting his 1st big contract. Unfortunately, like AD now, he will be up for a big contract after the 08 season. Let's hope that the cap goes up enough so we can keep both of these guys + Ray's successor together for years to come.

Re: Bart Scott: 15 tackles 1 int
I'm no longer worried about Ray declining or trying to find his replacement. If we can keep Bart and AD on our team, our LB corps is set for at least a couple more years. And give some credit to the defensive line. No LB corps succeeds as a whole without a defensive line that occupies blockers. Ngata has looked good so far and Gregg has looked dominant. Suggs and Pryce are doing their jobs very well. And our depth is solid too.
