Is Harbaugh the Coach of the Year?

    Seriously...

Fires his OC in Week 15
Reshuffles 3/5 of the OL in Playoffs
Dealt without Webb and Ray Lewis from Week 6 onward to playoffs
    Dealt with SEVERAL key injuries
Dealt with 3 game losing streak at the end of the year
Beat Manning and Brady in the playoffs on the road

    Name me a better candidate?

I don't think so. As much as it hurts me to say so, I think Pete Carroll did more with less, even though he is an ass hat. Are there other better candidates out there?

Re: Is Harbaugh the Coach of the Year?

HARBs coached with a lot of adversity with half the defense in the hospital including
Webb in this game. Ray and Suggs never played together until recently because they
    were both out.

There was also death in the family to deal with and they scored big there too.

HARBs definitely deserves it but his competition comes from brother Jim in SF.

First time two brothers face off in SB history.

Both are deserving of the award.

Pete's up too but one of the HARBs gets it. Whoever wins the next one.

    Maybe.

Pete Carroll should be up there.

John Harbaugh should definitely be in contentions for coach of the year.

    Jim Harbaugh should too.

I definitely could see Pete Carroll getting some picks for that.

Honestly though, Bruce Arians should have his name thrown in the hat.

I wouldn't have a problem with Arians and Pagano splitting it.

Is Harbaugh the Coach of the Year?

Which one? One fired his QB in week 7, and the other fired his OC in week 15.

I'll throw John Fox into the mix, albeit they did make the playoffs last year at 8-8?

Bruce Arains will probably win it.

As much as I'd hate to admit it, Shannahan deserves to be in it too

    Harbaugh? John Harbaugh?

    Are you serious?

The guys that half of this board (OK, an overgeneralization) wanted fired several times over this season?

    Pfffft!

    No way!

I think he is the hands down winner. That colts team was awful last year and wasnt playing that well the 1st could weeks then they got hot riding the emotions when he took over

You mean the guy who may have ended his franchise QB's career due to his own arrogance?

Now, the one thing that I'm not sure about is whether or not they're allowed to consider post-season performance when they're voting, or if it strictly must have to do with regular season performance. Harbaugh might get a nod if they include the play-offs, but if it only concerns the regular season, I could see Arians or Shannahan being considered.

Arains and Shanny are ahead of Harbs, IMO.

I think it will be Arians in the end.

I doubt it but he is in my mind. Getting rid of Cam at the end of the season, saving McKinnie until the playoffs, the guy made some shrewd moves that took balls of steel

When are the votes taken? At the end of the season? I would bet it will be Pagano.
