Steeler Nation in Misery
This is a pretty entertaining thread, this is pitiful to say the least. Basically, whatever the outcome of the SB, they will be miserable. If SanFran wins, Steelers fans feel they have to share the throen for most SB Wins. If Baltimore wins, well.....

Yeah most in this city rather us win , but don't want to admit it. It's so sweet, we will win anyway, but shitsburgh will hear and see the purple all damn summer, and get ready, for the Flacco Era. It's the Ravens who is big daddy now. RavenNation

Re: Steeler Nation in Misery
They dont beleive football existed before the SuperBowl era but wear throwback jerseys for every other game! Idiot fanbase. Johnny U, Jim Brown, Mickey Mantle, Hank Aaron, Bill Russell never existed either. But then again they celebrate 80 year NFL anniversary of thier franchise this year. Hipocrites.

I particularly like this post:
"I don't have a problem rooting for SF at all. To me them getting 6 isn't that big of a deal. The game is about the now."
Oh is that right? Is that why every Squealer fan, when losing an argument about who has the better team, always resorts to the "we got 6 rings" response?

Re: Steeler Nation in Misery
I told a Steeler fan at work, one reason we smashed and beat up the Patriots is because of being tested year in and out by the likes of the Steelers and our whole division.
But the Steeler fans in my office are actually pulling for us? Maybe the Mayan's were right....

Re: Steeler Nation in Misery
Everything said here already, plus they think they have a chance next year. I know any given Sunday and all of that, but they have serious cap issues (worse than the Ravens). They are done for a while in terms of playoffs. One idiot on the second page would rather a meteor hits the earth than either team winning the Super Bowl. Just so thw Steelers are the only team with 6 Super Bowl victories? Morons, all of them.
He is calmer than you about the Ravens not opening the season at home.

Re: Steeler Nation in Misery
I was talking to a guy at work who is a Steelers fan, I told him which would he rather... having to share the 6 ring club with SF, or having Baltimore win 2 SBs in only 16 years of being a franchise. This fucking clown tried to tell me that Baltimore is really the Baltimore Browns, and not a new franchise. Talk about a delusional fanbase.

Re: Steeler Nation in Misery
Interesting that they are in denial about the present. Ravens are the better team these last two years. Steeler fans are saying that Flacco has grown up and the Ravens are modeled after them. Flacco has been giving them tough games since he arrived in the NFL. If Ravens are modeled after them, why are they in trouble for the future. Oh well, six rings ,six rings, yea, well have fun watching the SB from home AGAIN. IT's today and tomorrow that count. Yesterdays was fun and they'll always have the memories.

Re: Steeler Nation in Misery
I couldn't help myself. Had to post. I am sure I will be banned in about 10 minutes. I just don't understand the hate, though. Squeeler fan venom against the Ravens is worse than ours against them, it would seem. Why?

Re: Steeler Nation in Misery
There is a high level of bitterness to their hate for us. I think Ravens fans just plain hate them as a rivalry but their fan base is extremely bitter about our team and our success. They were on their high horse for so many years and along come the Ravens to compete for the alpha seat and knock them down. I cannot imagine living my life in such misery as they appear to do on a daily basis. This is why no one likes their franchise or their fan base.

Re: Steeler Nation in Misery
Yea, it is interesting to see how they ignore the past! Packers with 13 titles; they ignore it. It seems like they just like to live in this era....but then if my team sucked for soooo long, I probably would to. Btw, the city of Bmore has won World Championships at a faster clip than has the city of Pittsburgh, in case anyone is interested. We have 4 (and soon to be 5) in a shorter period of time than Pittsburgh's 6.

Re: Steeler Nation in Misery
FILTH knows no bounds RWT, I had an early morning meeting this AM, with (2) Patriot's fans and one from Pittsburg.
OMG,
All said they will not watch this SB.
Ray Lewis is a murdering POS thug.
Harbaugh is a whinning little boy and his brother a smug fck.
Typical NE fans, quit on Baseball last year when the sux sucked, and this year if their boy's not in it.
This was supposebly a very professional group of educators, hmmmm.
