I'm at work. What are they saying?

Re: Kaeperneck.....really?
Kaepernick is an exciting player to watch. It's no different from the RGIII worship we heard all season.

Re: Kaeperneck.....really?
Agreed. He's a gimmick that the media is in love with....just like Vick and RG3. Running QB's ..... where are they now?
Superman wears Flacco PJ's to bed!....

Re: Kaeperneck.....really?
Next to Ray and the Harbaughs, he's the biggest story of the Super Bowl so all of the attention is to be expected.

Re: Kaeperneck.....really?
The shows are covering about 60% 49ers, 20% Ravens, and 20% everything else.
I like it because it keeps the Ravens as a Vegas underdog and that means more payoff on my bets. :-)

Re: Kaeperneck.....really?
Totally agree. This "new-age" QB talk is a lot of crap. Running QBs will eventually get hurt in the NFL, it is just a matter of time. The speed of the game in the NFL is so much faster than in college, that gimmick offenses that work in college have a limited shelf life in the NFL. I fully expect the Ravens to drill Kaepernick very hard every chance they get. Cam Newton can get away with running, because he is basically a linebacker playing QB. Guys like RGIII and Kaepernick aren't that big and will not be as durable. They can use their mobility to buy time to throw, but will have to pass the ball effectively to be successful.

They've been equally flattering about Flacco. It depends on who's talking.

The ball washing is deserved. Kaepernick is good as shit. Say what you want about the "gimmick" offense, but the Niners are in the Super Bowl because of it.

First play we need to send Pollard in on safety blitz.

The disrespect angle is going way too far. There have been hours upon hours of talk about the Ravens, and we're still a week away. If that's not enough I don't know what is

there are only two teams playing and two QBs. They have to go overboard on each

Re: Kaeperneck.....really?
Falcons can't close. We know that, as Saints play them twice a year. The best game they ever played was against us.
If the Falcons weren't unlucky on that WR slip that led to and INT, and Ryan didn't follow it up with a fumble Atlanta would have won the game......turning the ball over twice late in the game in a row isn't going to get you too many wins- and the Falcons still had a chance.Way Down South in New Orleans
