9ers board What Defender do you fear??? Post

Adalius Thomas <<he's a beast, 260lbs can move around like a gazelle.

Wow some of them are in a TIMEWARP

Ngata is all over the place inconsistent. He didn't have a great year.

Jimmy Smith was the best player on that defense I saw yesterday.

    lol ...

All those guys are nearly 30 or far passed it. Suggs probably the most feared and he is just as old.

Seriously their defense is aged so much it's crazy. I like our odds against the old folks home in this one.
LMAO I guess when our wheelchair and scooterchair defense whoops dare ass they wont be old then!!!

9ers fans are delusional. I'm convinced they are mostly bandwagon fans that don't know shit about football.

No mention of Pollard. If I were Kapernick I would def fear Pollard.

They're not the Patriots, there is no pre-ordained, automatic, magnetic attraction to him and the knee/spine/soul of their most important player.

Most of them mention Pollard actually. Some point to Reed, Suggs, and even Kruger. One mentioned Ellerbee.

If I were the 49ers, I'd fear Pees and his effectiveness in implementig and utilizing a remarkably disciplined secondary for the playoffs.

Then, I'd fear Reed, Pollard, et al, who seem to have "seen the light", as it were, on how to prepare and deal effectively with top quality QBs/offenses for each playoff game.

    I mean...that is....IFF I were the 49ers...

Pretty much what they say, and add Suggs.

They should be looking at the match up of Paul Kruger on Anthony Davis.

Davis is a decent run blocker, but he's got heavy feet as a pass blocker.

    Fixed that for ya.

Guaranteed Pollard is going to be looking to drop the hammer on Gore, Crabtree, and Vernon Davis.

And what gave that away? :snicker

Seriously, that is pretty embarrassing.... This is what happens when you get popular.

Heck, I'm sure if the Ravens are ever given the type of respect they are due, and receive some bandwagon/fairweather-lovin, I'm sure we'll see the same.

The 49er I'm scared of the most is Kwame Harris.

In my slight defense of the Niners fans, the town really isn't as much of a football town as it is a baseball town.

I lived there for a year and they are very luke warm about football in general. There wasn't much interest in the team for a while and they really had to struggle to get their new stadium approved. The residents of SF didn't even want the new stadium in their town.

Heh. To be fair, the Ravens organized a rally, with the mayor and governor attending. It appears the 49ers didn't bother.
"A lot" is a two word expression denoting a great deal or greatly, as in "I like sunshine a lot." "Alot" is a lovable imaginary grammar monster. You can love a lot; you can love an alot; you can love alots a lot; but they are not the same thing.

Shit I wish we had Adalius. Can you even imagine Suggs, Ngata, Adalius, Kruger on third downs?
