If I had to write down a guess...

    Strahan, JO, Bettis, Shields, Parcells
In my opinion, Larry Allen gets in ahead of all these guys, though with JO its close.

And I don't see how Bettis could get in ahead of most of the guys who are eligible, but one never knows.

Yeah, My opinion is that Larry Allen is BY FAR the best finalist... He is IMO the best Olinemen of all-time and one of the top 10 players in NFL history t any position.

The thought then occurred to me that perhaps Ed would want to play one more year to NOT go in at the same time as Ray. I really do not mean this in a negative way. Just thinking that through his whole career Ed has shared the spotlight with or some might argue kinda had to stand in the shadow of one of the greatest ever to play. I could not blame Ed if he would prefer to go in a year later. Not saying that he would play simply for that reason but wondering if it could be a factor?
The biggest name Ray will go in with in Tony Gonzalez.

Can't see Art getting in this year but, thankfully, it won't because of past reasons.

This year will be as GOTA pointed out a numbers game.

Jamison Hensley just tweeted to not expect Modell to get in this year. I'm guessing he's saying that with some inside info provided.

Art wasn't goin to make it this year, too good a class. Sorry, maybe next year. There are 4 slam dunk first ballot guys and they may not even all make it. Haley Cris Carter and Parcells on the backlog ahead of Art for sure.

How quickly what that man has done to make the league what it is today is forgotten. I could even begin to describe it.

Now that I won't disagree with.

I think they jsut said the magic word. Contributors need to be seperated from modern players.

Now the Senior Committee? It's been years since I've even heard of one of their nominees... adn they get 2 in every year for some strange reason. I think the senior committee's list should get combined with all the contributors and 2 of them should get voted in. this year, that would be Parcells and modell, and next year it might be the 2 guys I've never heard of that are about to get in for some strange reason.

that's reasonable. Carter vs Strahan vs Sapp vs Parcells (keep 3)
was the tough decision for me.

Larry Allen and JO were the biggest slam dunk's IMO.

Carter finally gets in. I wasn't sure about Sapp and I was surprised by Strahan.
