Bah, she's sour grapes. She should go hang with Wes Welker's wife.

I wonder how much football sense these cheerleaders have. Let me set the backdrop: she's been with the team for five years so I assume she's aware just how close the Ravens have been to the Super Bowl. She actually was a part of the team for the entire regular season and THEN retires because it became too much of a burden. If she would have just stopped and thought about it she would have come to this conclusion, "The Ravens are 99% likely to have only one home game and then I won't be needed for three weeks (outside of practices I'm assuming)". Her real life responsibilities couldn't have been that demanding because she's jonesing for a vacation in NOLA and appearing on the Today Show.

If she would have just thought for a second prior to quitting, that she would only have to cheer for one more week and that this team has a good chance to go all the way, then she could have stayed and most likely would be on the list.

I'd really like to know how anyone could see the 1.6 pounds she gained. What a bunch of crap.

With her appearance on the Today show, it looks like she got her true wish.

    15 minutes.

Shame on us for giving her any more.

I would figure they have weigh ins.

Because she gained much more than that. The stories aren't telling the whole story. Look at the pictures of her from last season, and then the video of her form today. It's a world of difference, you can see a significant weight gain and you don't even have to look hard, it's plainly obvious.

    Funny!

But probably true all the way around. Boxers, jockeys, Olympic atheletes, etc. etc. have all been known to "flush the system" prior to an important weigh-in. Maybe she didn't dump enough Ducolax in her Prune Juice that morning.

And they can't take - All- of the cheerleaders. They can only take half of them.

And FWIW, I'm reading that the Ravens said that "Our selection process [for which 32 out of the 60 cheerleaders were chosen] was based upon three criteria: seniority, performance ability and personal conduct throughout the season". I haven't followed this breaking news itm story as close as I should have, but how did Lenz confirm that she was overlooked explicitly and solely because of her 1.6 pound weight gain? I see three criteria, and the linked article also suggests she may have violated one or more of the squad "rules".

Is there a link to what happened, or more likely to what SHE says specifically happened and confirms the weight gain as the reason to exclude her? Thanks...

A co-worker of mine told me a story of where he was seeing one of the Raven's cheerleaders for a few weeks. He said she was hot as shit, but dumb as fuck.

As the old adage goes: Show me the most beautiful girl in the world and I'll show you a guy who is tired of fucking her.

Why can she just not showing up for try out next year, then they'll know she is retire. She is so self centered that she needs to announced her retirement.
