Re: Whats your drink menu for the Super Bowl

Browsing through Lowe's about a year ago (Lowe's being the "upscale" grocery here now that Harris Teeter shuffled off to Charlotte! ), I stumbled across a German beer I've been buying and enjoying called Maisel's Weisse. Bottle is an RCH under 17 oz's. Right tasty. I suspect our hosts where we will be watching the game will also uncork a bottle or two of their nicest grape juice, and I'll take a bottle or two myself.

I'll have a Manhattan or two before the game to calm my nerves, then switch to Keystone Light for the game. Old habits die hard, plus light beer is light beer is light beer.
    Long days and pleasant nights.

As always, Steele Reserve High Gravity "Lager".

Not a particularly good taste but at over 8% alcohol by volume and $1.39/24 oz can, it is just what the doctor ordered.

It is my classic Ravens Malt Liquor, because it really is not beer.

I'm trying out this rare flavor of beer called "water".

I picked up some more Abita's Purple Haze, picked up some for the Pats game after reading a thread here and liked it ok. It isn't actually a favorite but, we won. So Purple Haze it is again.
