The 49 ers open an new stadium next year right?

I would say that, combined with the already scheduled Orioles Home games opening week pretty much guarantees that the 49ers will open the season next year on Thursday Night.

really? do you remember when we won our last SB and up until that point the the winning SB team opened on MNF. We didnt get that game, so why wouldnt they do it to us again?

They don't have to give us anything. If the Orioles are in Camden Yards at 7:05 against the White Sox, which they are, there is no way there will be a Ravens game at the same time. Actually, unless we get the Sunday Night Game, The Ravens will likely start the season on the road.

Or the move it to the day before like the did with the first game this year because it clashed with something else

I'm sure the league will ask Bisciotti what he wants to do and whether or not he can convince the O's to move out of the slot. A SB winning owner has a lot more pull than one who hasn't gotten over the hump yet.

we'll get the first game one way or another. i'm sure they'll work something out. Either A- the O's game is moved B- Ravens game moved to Wednesday C- Ravens game moved to Friday

It is totally ridiculous to even entertain the thought that the Ravens won't open the 2013 season. They moved the game this year from Thursday to Wednesday to accomodate Obama's speech and the Orioles play @Cleveland on Wednesday 9/4. They'll play it on Wednesday.

Great catch.. I totally forgot about that. Yes, we'll open on Wednesday..

My guess right now it'll be a rematch of the AFC title game. Bring on the Patriots.
