He reminds me an awful lot of Ray Rice. Not as much lower body strength, but maybe better vision.

The Cardinals decide to roll the dice and go with a player they think can be the next Andy Dalton. They select:

    Matt Barkley QB USC

Hopefully this USC QB is better for them than the last time they took a QB from USC

Really? I don't see Ray Rice...I think Bernard has more straight line speed. I see a similar player to David Wilson.

    Yuck.

Zac Dysert still on the board...Ryan Nassib still on the board...Tyler Wilson still on the board...

I went to UNC but I'm from MD, so I've watched a ton of both. Gio is more quick then fast, goes down on first contact, but is very shifty in small spaces. His real talent though is patience and vision, reminds me a bit of Emmitt Smith in that regard. I don't see David Wilson at all.

Geno Smith at #1 just doesn't sound reasonable to me. I know some mocks have him there but I'd be shocked. Lts see what happens in the combine and pro days

I really dislike Dysert and Wilson. I don't think either will be in the NFL 3 years from now. Nassib is interesting but I need to see what he does at the Combine. Barkley still put up over 30 TDs against good competition 2 years in a row and that was with a crap o-line his senior season. He's going to need some time and the Cards still have Kolb. Last year everyone was putting Barkley as the favorite for the 1st overall pick. He's obviously going to fall but I don't think he makes it past one of the teams that is looking for a QB in round 2.
