Has anyone gone wild ordering Ravens Super Bowl CHAMPIONS gear?
Anyone else gone on a spending spree for souvenirs? I think I've already spent close to $500 dollars on gear, DVDs, car decals, beer mugs, etc? It feels incredible to have the opportunity to order all these momentos!

My family and I are about to go on a serious shopping spree... Going to SF the end of the month so I gotta show off some swag (although I'm a little fearful with some of their insane fan antics)
I guess white Tshirts arent in vogue, b/c I cannot find a SB champs short sleeve Tshirt anywhere. During a hot sunny summer day, I prefer a white shirt. Has anyone found any?

I finally broke down and bought a t-shirt for myself and hubby at Target last night. I guarantee it will be the first of many purchases (DVD, shotglasses, hats and sweatshirts).

SI has a decent package for $90 that includes a subscription (of course), plus a DVD, commemorative football and hardcover book:

I like the Nike shirt with the hand holding the Lombardi:

But I will probably wait a bit. I also like the "Kings of the AFC" shirt from the conference round, which is already reduced in price.

If that tshirt was polyester I would buy it, but I found a gray one that was polyester that I bought instead.
Groupon had some commemorative beer glasses that I bought the day after.

Re: Has anyone gone wild ordering Ravens Super Bowl CHAMPIONS gear?
My wife and I are planning on buying a bunch of stuff this weekend. If anyone has places where there are any sorts of deals for this merchandise, please pass them along. Even if it's just a bulk-order discount or such.
Also, what I'd really like is a DVD that has the full game replays of our playoff games (edited for commercials, halftimes, power outages, that sort of thing). Do I have to wait on that, or is someone already selling it?

Re: Has anyone gone wild ordering Ravens Super Bowl CHAMPIONS gear?
Just a reminder, as long as the conversation is kept to *what* y'all bought, it can stay up.
But there are sponsors for the site that sell SB gear and they are none too appreciative when traffic is steered away from them so please do not get into a discussion of *where* to buy the schwag.
Thanks everyone! We have to feed the gerbils some how!

Re: Has anyone gone wild ordering Ravens Super Bowl CHAMPIONS gear?
I spent a little before the SB for the program (as a keepsake/autograph material) and AFC Champion t-shirt...
Day after the SB, I bought a t-shirt to give my son as a birthday present later this year, a hat for me, and a mini-football for him again for autographs.
I'm still planning to get a Ray Lewis jersey and sew on SB and Art patches. Plan to buy the DVD. I'm still itching for a t-shirt, though probably looking for a non-official type one. Almost bought a new magnet for the car.
I'm planning to buy more, just more spread out to keep my funds from draining..

Re: Has anyone gone wild ordering Ravens Super Bowl CHAMPIONS gear?
I couldn't believe all of the posts I saw where people were buying AFC Champ gear. While the big prize was still in reach.
I bought my family all a shirt and cap - the ones the players were wearing right after the SB. Damn those caps are expensive. Now I have a set of SB Champ shirt/caps

Re: Has anyone gone wild ordering Ravens Super Bowl CHAMPIONS gear?
Yeah, I bought a single thing, just because I wanted something if we did lose. But figured I'd save majority on the chance we won it all. Which we did!
Question for everyone, I've been sticking to the "official" stuff from Nike. Do you prefer the official stuff (which is crazy expensive) or going with the more creative, non-official swag?
I saw a guy wearing a SB 47 polo, but he got it as a gift, so he couldn't tell me where it came from. I REALLY want that polo so I can have work appropriate Ravens swag..

Re: Has anyone gone wild ordering Ravens Super Bowl CHAMPIONS gear?
Got myself and the wife a t-shirt... want a DVD... and I still want one of last year's Reebok sideline visor beanies... haven't found one anywhere since ther very first time I saw one on the sideline. Always been sold out. If anyone finds one, let me know please.
edit: official vs non-official... depends... Tshirt? Non-official... but some official stuff is real nice. I have a Nike DriFit sideline Polio that I love. I call it my "John Harbaugh jersey". It was my purple friday attire for the majority of the year.

Re: Has anyone gone wild ordering Ravens Super Bowl CHAMPIONS gear?
At this point there is not a lot of official NFL stuff out. That means most of what you see now will not have "Baltimore Ravens World Champs" on it yet. That will take a couple weeks. Every year the NFL does the same thing. They make a generic World Champs hat and T in a neutral color. They make a bunch of logos of both teams. When the winner is anounced they plop it on and sell it for high dollar ($35 for a hat this year) during the first few days when the Fans of the winner are in a state of euphoria. That way they can make a killing before anyone else does, but the actual team name or colors will not be on it. Right now the NFL is approving designs and issuing licences. In a week or two there will be plenty of WC gear in Ravens colors with Ravens logos and "Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl Champs" (or similiar) and the official NFL tag.
If you notice all you'll see now locally are non-NFL shirts that say "Baltimore World Champs" without the name Ravens or the Ravens logo.
Look at the merch thouroughly before you buy and make sure it's what you want. If you wait a little bit some really cool stuff will come out and it may be even cheaper. Again, same thing happens every year. After SB XXXV i waited untill our Ravens Roost bullroast at the end of Feb and there was all kinds of variety.Last edited by Real Fan Dan; 02-08-2013 at 02:07 PM.
