I actually met Travis in person at a Bowie game and then Dinner --- very nice/down to earth/funny guy . But the way he acted on the boards was so crazy it was like it wasn't the same person.

Yea "18-87-44-29" could really get under a Ravens fan skin with his love of the Indy Irsay's.

Haha that was the best. Wasn't that before a home Steelers or Colts game? I think he may have had some issues outside of Internet posts but he was always a riot in my book.

I was working in San Antonio a couple summers ago and stopped to fill up my rental car with gas before heading to the airport. Across from the gas station was this HEB store, and I see this DJ booth set up and some goof ball talking about all these "swell" prizes people could win by stopping by the booth. I got a little closer and sure enough it was Travis Moon out doing a remote for the afternoon drive time. I stood there laughing my ass off at his schtick and never did go up and introduce myself.

And no one has mentioned one of the funnier moments at Sunspot when someone showed up with an avatar of Mike Preston holding a big Krispy Kreme donut. That was hilarious. And Preston and Brucie even cracked a couple donut jokes shortly after that on one of Brucie's old afternoon shows.
