    Jets Release Bart Scott

    http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/stor...-new-york-jets

He's another Adalius Thomas, great when in the Ravens system, but terrible on his own. I can't even imagine who would pick him up.

That's exactly why I didn't even mention the possibility. I wouldn't take him for the vet minimum.

Bart Scott is going to have to take what he can get.

Calvin Pace may garner some interest from multiple teams. I would expect Scott to be out there for a while.

The guy was the third best LB on that team pretty much as long as he was there.

Call me when they release David Harris.

He would be a depth move. Not a good coverage Lber, IMO. But not opposed at a good price. Veteran minimum type deal, but he is a thumper.

He's not coming back here even if he wanted to play for free.

He did not like Harbaugh and the comments he made a few years back burned whatever bridge was left.

I don't even think the Ravens would give him a favorable word to another team.

The Ravens would rather start Bynes or Carr instead of Bart Scott.

Ravens are focused on getting younger. Not signing washed up has beens. Scott is a 2 down LB at best.

    From PFF:

Both inside linebackers, David Harris and Bart Scott, combine for 17 missed tackles and rank 20th in Run Stop Percentage with 8.4.

Their is a group of people who watch Raven games at the Parlor on Melrose. Do you join that group? Crazy scene, lots of diehard fans. I connected with them after I moved to LA from the Denver. Nice crowd of fans.

I'll take "Overrated & Old NFL Players" for $500, Alex ....

Answer: Bart Scott and Randy Moss

Question: What two players would get nothing but Ozzie's voicemail if they called the Ravens looking for a job?

Do you connect with the West Wing Ravens crowd that gathers at the Parlor on Melrose for game, pretty good fans and lots of diehard fans. Huge crowds. I found them welcoming since I moved west part time from Denver and Baltimore.

It's a good thing you didn't hit the daily double. You'd be in the hole right now.

No that's the first time I've heard of them.

Scotts not even overrated at this point in his career, everyone knows he's old and slow.
