Did you know...?
That Joe Flacco is the tallest QB to ever win a SB?
I remember a discussion a while back and we were talking about how it seemed that there was a (completely arbitrary and nonsensical) correlation between a QB's height and SB success. At the time, Peyton hadn't won yet...so guys like Brady, Ben, Favre, Elway, Young, etc were shorter than 6'5".
Stupid, I know.

I thought Big Ben is 6'5" and that is who Flacco got compared to a lot when talking about tall QBs.

Actually at the combine he measured 6'6 and 7/8ths of inch tall. He's as close to 6'7 as you can get. Originally Posted by Paintballguy

Somehow I missed this, but did you know . . .
. . . that the Ravens are the first team since the 1994-95 Dallas Cowboys to lose the conference championship game one year and come back and win the Super Bowl the next year?
At least I think that's what I read somewhere.

The height thing sounds ridiculous, but that's how scouts think.
