  1. Ravens Rap(as heard on 98 rock this morning)

My friend and I were so pumped up from yesterdays big win that we decided to celebrate by writing a pretty rad ravens song. It turned out pretty well and it gets me pumped up everytime I listen to it.. i guess it was good enough that the 98 Rock morning show played it this morning.

Its 1:45 long and is safe for work:

I hope you guys like it!

    Well it ain't Led Zeppelin!

I'll leave it to some of the younger crowd to comment. I don't want to hurt your feelings

My mother taught me a long time ago that if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. So, I think I'll take her advice.

Can you do a song about the O's?

  9. Re: Ravens Rap(as heard on 98 rock this morning)

im gonna do a song for every raven victory -- so hopefully we will have 12 more songs..

I could probably do different genres as well but rap really emphasizes lyrics and the message is about the ravens not the tune

An Orioles/Angelos song would be great awesome...

Game over and the Ravens win . . . hmmmm . . . . catchy, but not as catchy as "Are you Cleveland in Disguise".

I think it's neato (bet you can't tell I'm old from that statement, eh?)

Nice job, especially getting it done overnight. I like it and I'm an 'old' guy.

I'm no rap enthusiast, but that cut at least didn't make me nauseous the way that Rob Long show intro does.

    R-O B-O L-O N-G...... R-O B-O L-O N-G....

It all makes me nauseous. It's cut and paste entertainment... let's not go so far as to say it's music. It is also, by definition, evidently, repititious, and redundant! Rap, Hip-Hop is a giant leap backwards for music... so far back, it ISN'T music! It's also redundant! Did I say it's redundant? They say it's all about the lyrics... and it is. Since when are lyrics music? And couldn't there be something new? or something new? Oh that's right it's redundant... over and over again.
A real music fan is not required to appreciate all kinds of music... just all kinds of good music!

I agree with that. This rap was much easier on the ear than the Rob Long thing. I think the banging on garbage can lids music has something to do with it also.
