    Draft becoming multi-city affair?

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...i-city-affair/

The idea outlined in the link I don't like personally, but I think every NFL city should get the entire draft. I would go in a heartbeat if it was in Baltimore or Washington.

Moved from the Non-Ravens board ...

During the off season, go ahead and post stuff like this in the main board.

    It's a good discussion topic.

I think your idea of moving the draft around the NFL cities is great. I get really tired of the Jets and Giants being the only (vocal) fans at the draft.

I agree that if it was in Baltimore/Washington I would try my best to get in there.

That would be cool if they did it. Still like the faces of disbelief from Jets fans when their team does a bonehead pick.....

Just like the comments in the article. GREAT idea to do the WHOLE draft in different cities, but splitting it up sounds too complicated and doesn't make sense. Not many people wanna see the later rounds, as in PAY to get in or travel and etc....

They wouldn't have had to move the draft next year if they would've just moved the city. Hell they could've still had it in the NY area if they wanted.

It would generate tons of interest if they would have open competition like they do for the Super Bowl, and move the draft each year.

I know it takes a few months of planning to setup the draft, but I think they should have it in the city of the Super Bowl winner.

1st Mariner Arena would be the logical choice.

    I'm confused.

Last month we were being told that Radio City Music Hall is so very critical for hosting the event that the NFL was willing to move the date for the entire affair two weeks in order to be sure it could stay there...

...and now we're being told it lacks sizzle and they are willing to put the whole thing on a circus train so it can be paraded around from city to city.

    Please explain.

(Is it just me, or the guys in charge unrepentant assholes?)

I like the sentiment but you guys are kidding yourself that they'd pick a Baltimore location over DC.
