Brown will have 7+ sacks this year.

Pees liked to blitz Ellerbe a lot last year. I see Arthur being that new inside pass rusher. He is quicker than Dannell, so coupled with that devastating 1-2 punch of Siz & Doom and the OLs gearing up to stop them, AB is gonna get in the QB's face very often.

I predict we will look back at this draft class as one of the very best we've ever had.

This is Caldwell's last year, someone will hire him as a head coach.

I'd be willing to make a friendly wager with you on this one.

Uh oh, I've been called out. I'm not mortgage payment confident, so what do you have in mind?

    My reasoning is this:

Caldwell is considered key in the offensive production during the playoffs last year.

I'm optimistic under his leadership the offenses will improve this year.

Caldwell is the only black OC in the league.

The league is concerned with opportunities for blacks coaches and none have been hired for 6 years. I don't see a better candidate next year.

Good points and you may be right. I just think the playoff run was more about Flacco and Caldwell has never been an OC before. He did well in his first year but it was Manning's team and without him he showed nothing. If the offense flourishes he likely will get some credit and rightly so. Just not sure that qualifies him as HC material

Josh Bynes wins one of the ILB jobs.

He's been sorta lost in the shuffle of the competition for one of the ILB spots but word out of camp is that he's been solid playing the run and has displayed the speed to keep up with the TE's.

That would be great. It's our biggest defensive hole by a mile.

    Here is another prediction:

Ed Dickson has a 60+ reception season and signs with either the Houston Texans, New York Jets, or Denver Broncos for a ridiculous contract.

I don't know about the second part but he is in prime position to have a big year. Last year he was relegated to more of a blocking role and his numbers fell off from the previous season. This year he'll get plenty of chances.

The national media will prognosticate doom and gloom for the Ravens due to the guys we have lost this offseason and the loss of Pitta.

The Ravens however will just do what they do and roll to another AFC North Title. By the end of the season the media will be praising the "new younger" Ravens and how Ozzie has now set this team up for another 5-6yr run of success. Bank on it
