Wink I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello Vonta Leech.

Since the other thread was closed and I'm a Beatles fan I thought I'd start this thread.

    Hey-la, hey-hey-oh-la....

Props for #5--it takes a real Beatles fan to remember that "A World Without Love" (a #1 hit in the US & UK for Peter & Gordon in 1964) was by McCartney & only offered to P&G after Paul had moved in with Peter's sister, Jane Asher. (The rest of your list, however, is IMHO as a Beatles fan lame, lamer, lamest.)

Mildly interesting tidbit from the Wiki entry:
McCartney described John Lennon's reaction to the song: "The funny first line always used to please John. 'Please lock me away ' 'Yes, okay.' End of song."
Easy to imagine John muttering that in Liverpudlian...

(Note that "McCartney wrote the song when he was 16." That's not quite Mozart territory but sheeyit, man-- )

I really don't so much give a fuck about the originality of the Beatles lyrics as i just thought it was some funny shit imagining Leech sayin' it.

NICE, but I don't think fixing a hole works. Creating a hole yes, fixing a hole no.

I guess that makes us 0 for 2 in the not-so-much-as-giving-a-fuck department...I just wanted to give you props for "A World Without Love." Still blows me away that it was written by a 16-year-old...even if he grew up to be Paul McCartney.
