So, is it Ozzie or Harbaugh? Or both?

They didn't know at the time they would lose Jacoby for about a month

I'm alright with people jumping off the wagon right now.

    Makes it roomier for me.

Jeesh some of you are real emotional and moody after one game.

I find it interesting that it is the same few posters who are making a big deal about this.

Just floating this out there, but Doss being cut and NOT signed by ANYONE else likely served as a major wake up call for the guy.

He has talent. He has a skill set that this team desperately needs.

He just needs to toughen up and leave it on the field every day.

I'm not expecting much, but seriously...step back from the ledge.

FTR, I also agree that this likely means that Deonte Thompson is close to return.

Something doesn't smell right here though. Mellette was inactive for the Broncos game, and isn't today the first time we have practiced since then? Mellette didn't practice today for "personal reasons", and then they announce he's on IR with a knee injury. So where did he sustain the injury?

    This doesn't make any sense.

Seriously, though, the result of all this is that we are likely to see much more of Tandon Doss over the next few weeks than any of us would've ever guessed. And I say that with some serious trepidation. But if Doss is ever going to prove he belongs in the NFL, he will never get a better chance. If he screws this up, well, the lone consolation is that he'd certainly be gone for good next year.

Doss is the 4th WR on this current depth chart. When DT is healthy, he's #5. When JJ is healthy, he's probably cut or #6.

He's here mainly to return punts and backup at WR.

Anyone really think that the Ravens would have an easy year without injuries? What has happened so far is truly tough to take, but I'll wait and see. Just hope the Ravens are competitive and play a tough and close game. Losing doesn't bother me, getting blown out is not what I thought would happen this year.

Yes, but consider that our #3 (Stokely) only gets limited snaps, and that we should still expect to see multiple receiver sets. JJ's out for at least a month, not sure about DT. Doss will be returning punts, sure, but I'll be surprised if he doesn't see significant snaps on offense if Thompson isn't back quickly.
