    The 49ers only completed 2 passes in the first half.

    Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

    I know they are only playing jax. But man seattle look good. If they get home field they will be virtually guaranteed a superbowl spot

    These are the accuracy issues I was talking about. Last year, teams were so panicky about his scrambling ability, WRs were running wide open and you saw that week 1. Since then, teams have manned up instead of running so much zone and the defensive lines are playing to contain him. Much like Tampa Bay used to play Vick.
