That was the ugliest half of football I've seen in a long time.
I want a Flacco jersey! Johnny Bench wore #5

    He's a mental midget.

It's one thing to get beat physically...I can't remember any center being this lost.

No reason for any DC to not blitz and run stunts up the middle on every single play.

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Man, 94 yds of offense. Sheesh...all the sturm and drang ...and all the offense has is less than 100 yds on offense? 17-0 makes it a bit palatable...just barely.

They scored 17 first half points with a terrible offensive line and terrible running game.

In a game where the wind has played a factor.

That's good. If the team actually had an offensive line and Rice was inactive, they'd be scoring 40+ today. Almost there... But 17 points is still certainly good.

Bengals D is pretty good folks. They are also well coached.

Considering how slow the offense starts out, I'll take an ugly first half and a 17-0 lead.
