Re: Why didn't any report ask about Jim Caldwell?

First off, thanks HoustonRaven and Shas for answers to my question, but :
    (a) HR = "I also think Caldwell will most likely be back next season after reading between the lines of the presser yesterday."
    (b) Shas = "My hope is that they hire a strong OC with clear responsibilities and a clear vision, and keep the staff cleanly delineated."
    (c) Bc = I sure hope Shas is right. I do not want to see Caldwell back. For whatever reason, he and Castillo presented us with an unproductive offense. Since Castillo will be here, then I
feel Caldwell has got to go. Let's get a veteran OC, hopefully with a stronger personality, who tries to get the very best out of the players talents but doesn't try to fit those square pegs into round holes... Bc

It's looking to me like Caldwell is coming back or they are going to promote an OC from within.

I'll be surprised if not. I think the scheme needs wholesale change.

I don't think Caldwell will be back. I think he will end up an Assistant HC/QB coach with Wisenhunt (who I think goes to Detroit) or Lovie Smith (they have ties through Tony Dungy).

I think/hope Norv is our next OC.

HC's typically build their staffs the way they see fit.

If Harbs was gone and the gave Castillo the O line coach spot then it would be odd.

I also think Caldwell will most likely be back next season after reading between the lines of the presser yesterday.
    As the OC???

If another team doesn't pick him up? Yeah, I am starting to believe so.

Albert Einstein, "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." That would be the reuniting Caldwell and Castillo running the Ravens offense... Bc

Not saying I'd agree with it.

Just appears to me the team is going to give him another shot.

Harbaugh's "my way or else" attitude. He has something to prove after this last 8-8 season. LOL

Typically, coordinators have a say in their staff.
