Big Ben....Godsend
You think they are still gonna hang that huge Big Ben Godsend banner at Steelers games?
The one with Ben descending from the heavens to save Pisstown?
Funny. They are all calling for his head.
Maybe we should hang that banner?

Re: Big Ben....Godsend
If Big Ben continues to struggle, maybe Pittsburgh might consider trading Big Ben, even-up, for the Raven's Sunshine (Boller). Nah....
Seriously, with what Big Ben has been through this offseason, the fans need to give him some time. For Pete's sake, the guy almost lost his life this year, and the Steeler fans think he should pick up where he left off last year. Personally, the lack of a power runner (in Mr Bettis) has hurt the Stillers Big Time, along with the loss of some key receivers.

Re: Big Ben....Godsend
wait, so Steelers fans are being fairweather to Ben? HAHAHA, what happened to the Golden Child?
But seriously, with how far behind they are getting, me thinks they'd be best served sitting Ben for the forseeable future and letting Batch get his work in. Batch actually won their first game!.

Re: Big Ben....Godsend
I think they'll wait until Boller has 2 good seasons and wins a Super Bowl before they make that move.
Pittsburgh's in a big hole now at 1-3. Look at their remaining schedule. Here's how I see it playing out.
Sunday, Oct. 15 CHIEFS - Win
Sunday, Oct. 22 @ Falcons - Loss
Sunday, Oct. 29 @ Raiders - Easy win
Sunday, Nov. 5 BRONCOS - Flip a coin
Sunday, Nov. 12 SAINTS * - Win
Sunday, Nov. 19 @ Browns * - Win
Sunday, Nov. 26 @ Ravens * - Flip a coin
Sunday, Dec. 3 BUCCANEERS * - Win
Thursday, Dec. 7 BROWNS - Win
Sunday, Dec. 17 @ Panthers * - Loss
Sunday, Dec. 24 RAVENS - Flip a coin
Sunday, Dec. 31 @ Bengals * - Flip it again
I see the divisional games vs. us and the Bengals as toss-ups since the rivalry is so intense. I also gave them credit for a win against the Saints at home too, which might be generous.
Assuming they win all the "coin flip" games, that puts them squarely at 11-5, which is unlikely. Assuming they lose all those games, that puts them at 7-9. Chances are they'll do somewhere in between and be 8-8 or 9-7, and won't make the playoffs.
