Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Rams
1st down Ravens from the Rams 48, give up the middle to Willis who loses 1.
2nd and 11, Boller doesn't sense the pressure, fumbles, and a Ram picks it up and runs inside the 20. Gaither got beat by a seasoned lineman.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Rams
1st from the 11, give to Leonard for 2.
One of the Ram linemen is hurt.
-
Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Rams
The line is showing their youth...which is why we need to be running the ball more.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Rams
Did the o-line show up today? They can't run or pass block.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Rams
I'm sorry. I've tried giving Billick the benefit of the doubt but this is pure stupid.
We run up the middle on first down. Then we pass on second down well short of the sticks. Then on third down we throw well short of the sticks.
Billick sucks. This is a novel I was asked to proofread. The author is giving 10% of the profits to kidney research, which is a big deal in the Darb household. Fair warning; it's a fantasy novel, and the main characters are lesbians. It's three bucks on kindle from Amazon.http://www.amazon.com/WINDOWS-BROKEN...ken+fairy+tale

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Rams
2nd and 8, Leonard NAILED in the backfield for a loss of 3! Gregg just dominated and was untouched.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Rams
3rd and 11, false start Rams. Frerotte got hit before everyone realized.
3rd and 16, CB blitz leaving the coverage to Landry and Ivy the nickel, ball thrown well but Ivy was there and his man drops it.
Wilkins hooks it left! Still 6-0 Ravens!!

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Rams
Ravens start at the 25.
1st, McGahee gets the toss for 1.
2nd and 9, audible to PA, complete to Clayton for 10.
Nice.

Now we'll throw it. On first I bet.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Rams
Ok, let's get the mojo going.
Clayton with his second catch already!
But our running game is starting to suffer because we won't take more shots downfield! Come on Billick!!! I said it wouldn't take long for a good defense to compact the field because of our lack of a long passing game.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Rams
Well I was wrong on that one. Now of course it's third down because Willis was stopped for no gain on first, we ran a stupid play on second...

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Rams
1st, Kracalik is in at TE (lol), McGahee up the middle for no gain, maybe a loss.
2nd and 11, PA, no one is open down the field, dumps it to Willis, gets about 2.
3rd and 9, complete to Mason who slips his man, then goes ALL THE WAY TO THE RAMS 36!!
Love when Mason gets his YAC!

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Rams
Damn, ANOTHER good catch by Mason! Great throw too. Even with the early hits, Boller looks calm and able to look over his options.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Rams
It's not even because we don't take shots down field Stinger. It's because Billick believes we have to run on first down, see, and then throw on second and third.
The defense knows what is coming because Billick is terrible. This is a novel I was asked to proofread. Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Rams
1st, stretch right for Mike Anderson, gets maybe 1 or 2.
2nd and 8, Willis fumbles the toss, manages to elude guys in the backfield and gets back to the LOS. Good effort, but hold on to the ball! He actually gained a yard.
3rd and 7, deep and way underthrown for Clayton, but he is completely covered and they're gonna get PI.
