Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
I don't feel good about this game. No Rolle, Cmac or Heap. Just don't see it.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
I wasn't feeling that great about it until about 3pm. I just am not impressed with pitt. I think they are very overrated by the media. This is the same exact team as last year. It does suck that Rolle and cmac are out but hey maybe Martin really steps up and earns a starting role, maybe Ivy can play as well as all the coaches seem to think he should. Wille ran for 52 yards in 2 games last year, shitty stat for all you stat fans. Ravens 17-13

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
Steelers have the leagues best run defense and the 4th leading pass defense. The media didnt make those numbers up.
Yes, we have done well against their run offense in the past and there really isnt any evidence to suggest that we wont do the same again tonight.
This isnt the same .500 team from last year. They will be looking for revenge after the butt kicking we gave them last year. The key will be pressure on Ben combined with our D backs keeping the assignments.WARNING: This post may contain material offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense and/or supporting factual or anecdotal evidence. Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
1st, Parker up the middle for 1-2.
2nd and 9, empty backfield, pressure immediately, Ben rolls right, finds Ward for about 15.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
Did Tirico just report that Rolle is out with a spleen injury that has been bothering him for a few weeks?

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
1st from about the 45, give to Parker, stopped for a loss of 1 or 2. Nice penetration.
2nd and 11, shotgun, quick hit to Ward who ends up losing a yard. Haha.
3rd and 12, pressure on Ben late, going deep for Ward over the middle, incomplete with Scott on the coverage.
Good first series!
Reed is back to return.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
Reed lets it go into the endzone. Blocks a Steeler from downing it deep, effectively.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
1st, McGahee pushes a wall up the middle for 2. No room whatsoever.
2nd and 8, give to McClain up the middle for 2 more. Looking quite conservative so far.
3rd and 6, McNair rolls right, and completes to Sypniewski amazingly on the sideline for 7.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
GREAT catch by Quinn.
1st from the 31, play action, thrown RIGHT to Ike Taylor and he drops it. Ugh.
2nd, shotgun, draw to McGahee for a loss of 3. Ridiculous playcall.
3rd and 13, McNair fumbles, he ran away where he knew pressure was coming, and no one can fall on it. Steelers ball.
UGH. KNEW HIS FUMBLES WERE COMING

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
1st from the 20, Parker goes left for 2-3.
2nd and 8, Parker for no gain.
3rd and 8, Ben somehow slips out of a gimme sack from 2 guys. UNBELIEVABLE. Pryce went for the fumble and its a pass for a TD.
AAAAGGGHHH
