The game is won in the trenches
That is what last night proved. For 3 quarters, our o-line protected Boller and did some good run blocking. For 3 quarters our D-line got pressure on Brady.
Then in the 4th quarter something happened. Part of it was the referees calling ghost penalties everywhere.
Part of it was Ngata getting hurt and coming off the field.
But overall, our 2 lines slowed, and the patriots got back in it.
If this game has taught me anything, its that we need to win in the trenches. If we do, then Boller will look good, McGahee will looks good, it'll all be good.
24 pts is a good total. 3 TD, 2 passing 1 rushing, a field goal, it was a good effort.
If the refs don't pull it out for the patriots, or our pressure keeps getting to Brady, we're talking a win.
