We have not won a division game this year...
And does anybody think the next game against Pitt will be our first?
Unreal that this team is going to go winless in the division...

Re: We have not won a division game this year...
The Ravens only hope is that Pitt's seeding is set before the game and that they will be resting their 1st string (and 2nd string for that matter)

Re: We have not won a division game this year...
Pittsburgh is not going to rest anybody. Their record is not good enough for them to lie down. They have a tough game against the Jags and they need at least one more win to assure themselves a spot in the playoffs. Then they would want to play for a bye week, assuming they win the next two games.
But don't worry, we won't win and at this point we should be playing for the draft pick. That is what I am hoping for. It does us no good to win any of the next 3 games. We should be in evaluation mode, play Troy Smith and anyone else who is on the bubble for next year. JMO, so don't beat me up about it.

What really scares me is that this year we could see the biggest invasion of Steeler inbreds and piss towels at the game since the days at Memorial.

This team is ready for the season to end now. How do you think they will feel 3 weeks from now?
I'm all for forfeiting the final 3 games.

Re: We have not won a division game this year...
Baltimore=Pittsburgh South.
The emotional downward spiraling firey crash this team has taken its fans on this season... who can blame the fans at this point. I will not sit here and say that one person is less of a fan for selling their tickets. It is the only way we as fans can voice our displeasure in the direction of our team. We can not sit back and pretend everything is roses anymore.
Of course the stands will be filled with squeelers fans. So bad in fact that the asshole that is Billick will chastise the fans for selling their tickets. Fuck him then. He puts a sub par team out on the field and they play like shit while ticket holders pay hard earned cash to be force fed the craptastic style of football we have been subjected to (breath) and he will tell Baltimore fans that he is disappointed in them?
It will happen. He has done it in the past. As far as I am concerned, until this team makes an effort to play like the team they have shown they can be, then they deserve to know that the fans are pissed.I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman!

Re: We have not won a division game this year...
Oh yeah, selling your tickets is a great way to voice your displeasure. Worked out so well 23 years ago with Irsay and the Colts, right?
Look, I love Baltimore, but this city is filled with fair weather fans. I'll admit as much as the next guy that this season has been absolutely horrible, but do you really want to see the stadium invaded by towel-waving inbreds? At least we have a team to cheer for.

Oh, for the record, I am playing devils advocate. But when the squeelers come to town, I can promise this... there will be a LOT of the fans in the stands. Belittle the fans who sell off their tickets all you want, but it is going to happen regardless.

Re: We have not won a division game this year...
There is no doubt alot of ticket holders will sell out and Steeler fans will scoop them up. Losac is right...this will be the worst inbred invasion since the 90's. There is already ~120 auctions on Ebay now with alot more between now and then for sure.

Pretty sure the Ravens are aware that we are not happy with the direction of the club, and I'm sure they aren't either.

Re: We have not won a division game this year...
Go to the game and hold up a sign. Boo. Call into one of the dozen Ravens players who have their own radio show and ask tough questions.
According to your logic, when you're not happy with the way the team is playing, you should abandon the team and sell your tickets to the enemy. Last I checked that's the definition of a fair weather fan. And it's also the kind of thinking that gave the drunk Irsay the perfect excuse to pack up the team and move out. Low attendance.

Re: We have not won a division game this year...
Its hard to hold up your heads, when you have shown nothing in your own division. It is a shocking nightmare. We are down in the AFCN hole with Pitt,Cin,and Cleve pissing down upon us.
That's about how good it tastes. And it makes me wanna puke.Put the smile back on your face. This is a 60 minute ball game.

Re: We have not won a division game this year...
People who boo are called fair weather fans as well. If you think by fans selling tickets will result in the Ravens packing up and leaving town, that is convoluted thinking. Aint gonna happen. They are a terrible team this year. Fans will react how fans will react. The club already made money off those tickets that are sold on ebay or what have you. No money is lost. Attendance is not down.
If the Ravens want Ravens fans in the seats the for fuck-sake, do something about it and fix this broke ass team of ours.I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman!

Re: We have not won a division game this year...
Sellling tickets doesnt effect the team at all, they already made their money, there see no change at all, 120 auctions on ebay is nothing, there are 200-300 for EVERY ravens game all year long. I didnt see very many rams or cardinals fans in the stands. Its all about the $$. they sell to ravens fans, anyone that buys.
look we arent happy, the team isny happy losing, its not like they are going to sit back and say, this is all good, we like losing, and taking n all this money. (See the orioles....they tried this and their stands are empty)
we are all stil going to buy tickets next year.Season ticket holder since 1996 Section 148 Tailgate Lot H

Re: We have not won a division game this year...
We've won our division twice since then. You can argue that the offense hasn't changed, but something about the "brand" is working at least some of the time.
The offensive system sucks ass, and I hope something changes, but I don't think you can doubt the front office's committment to winning.

Re: We have not won a division game this year...
People are going to do what people are going do. We care about who sits in the stands because we go to each and every game regardless of how well or how bad the team is doing. We love football and we love the Ravens.
But there are other folks who own PSL's who only attend ocassionally, like when the weather is good, the team is winning, etc. They are the people who sell on Ebay and other outlets and don't care what we write or say on this board. They would sell the ticket to the devil if he was the highest bidder.
Therefore, it's up to us to hold up the fort and support the team!
