Re: Brian Billick Fired?
Because they are winners....when you win you don't get pissed. These teams are constant playoff contenders. I bet if you watch the Steelers last year you'd find players pissed off, etc.
Look...the facts are we have 1 playoff win since the Superbowl win. Something has to change....period.M&T Bank Stadium - Section 513

Re: Brian Billick Fired?
I'm actually kind of surprised....I thought he may be here for one more year just due to the enormous amount of injuries......
I will say this: If Billick was "REALLY" the problem, then I don't want to hear Ray or any of the players bitch about playcalling next year!!!! Go out there and play the game and earn your keep.
If for nothing else, it will bring a new (positive) attitude to the team when they show up next year. Here's a thought as well: Sometimes the grass isn't always greener.....
I surely hope Bisciotti has another coach lined up already...........I am truly nervous about this team and I really don't know how to feel about Billick being gone.......

Re: Brian Billick Fired?
Biscuit says he didn't approach the players for their opinion. Only 'other personel'. He never went in the locker room and said the only time he does in when he gives tours to kids.
Also says that he has not interviewed Coach Cowher. In fact they have never met and they have not even thought about a replacement.Admin Steve

"I have not spent one minute thinking about Brian's replacement."
Oh great. I have a very very bad feeling about this.Festivus
His definitions and arguments were so clear in his own mind that he was unable to understand how any reasonable person could honestly differ with him.

Re: Brian Billick Fired?
Brians contract will be paid. Brian's staff signed two year contracts last year. They will be paid but no guarantee that the new regime will keep Brian's staff.

Re: Brian Billick Fired?
He's coming across as what he is to me, a young owner. I don't think he's used to handling the media in this way and that's blatantly obvious in this presser.
I suspect and hope that he has thought this through in a much more thorough process than he has articulated it.
