'Skins Fire Williams?!
Can anyone out there explain what Danny Boy is thinking?! He had, who I thought was a very good DC and a coach whom Joe Gibbs wanted to succeed him, and Snyder fires both the DC and the OC. Geez, what a freaking circus! Glad I'm a Ravens fan - our house looks a hell of a lot in better shape than the one down in Raljohn!

Re: 'Skins Fire Williams?!
NFL Network is saying they hired Mularkey as their OC. Who knows what the hell Snyder and his boy Cerrato will do. Sure seems like they are going about it ass-backwards. What HC wants to come in and not be able to pick his own staff?

Re: 'Skins Fire Williams?!
Well the cowboys did this before they hired Wade, and in a way it did pay off in terms of a nice regular season record, not so much in the playoffs. Why they would go in a different direction while having success this season especially when all the "replacements" were built-in in case Joe did retire makes absolutely no sense.Who in the hell hires an OC before a new head coach anyway????
Fans of DC will start screaming the firing of the Danny like they did before Joe Gibbs came to DC a few years ago

If he runs his theme parks the same way he runs a sports franchise, count me out on the next Six Flags roller coaster I see.

I question anyones judgment who decides to become his next head coach.

Re: 'Skins Fire Williams?!
He thinks that he knows what he's doing, but he doesn't. He just can't stay out of his own way -- he is the stereotypical meddling owner. He apparently held back while Gibbs was in charge because he worshipped Gibbs, but now that Gibbs is gone, Snyder is back to being the micro-managing dumb ass who thinks he knows it all.

Re: 'Skins Fire Williams?!
hilarious.
fire snyder (who will fire him? he owns the damn team)
fire fassel (hasn't even been signed yet.. they won't even give him a shot)
Fassel did take a team to the Super Bowl (only to be eaten alive by our team)
..but it's not the worst hire.
That guy wants to blame Fassel for our offensive woes as if they didn't exist before and after Jim came to town.
What an idiot..

We should all be thankful that Danny boy is running the show down there in DC. Gives us Ravens fans something to laugh at! If I were a Skins fan (NEVER!), I'd be seriously looking at another team to follow!

Re: 'Skins Fire Williams?!
Maybe we can trade Angelos for the Nationals owners, then DC would have 2 know it all owners who don't know sh*t & haven't won either. Then the 2 Napolean's could fight it out for who is the "better" owner!!! Danny Boy vs. Peter the Terrible.

Re: 'Skins Fire Williams?!
The one thing that will be interesting to see is how big a salary Williams and Saunders get with their new team. With the Redskins, they had been the highest paid assistants in NFL with monsterous contracts (Gregg Williams was 8 mil over 3 years, don't know the financials on Saunders' contract but he was #2 in the NFL). I wonder if that's going to inflate their ego any when they go to catch on with a new team.

Re: 'Skins Fire Williams?!
That's because Danny boy thinks money answers all questions...He thinks he can probably drown him in money to the point he "forgets" his promise to his daughter.
Danny is going to try the same thing with Josh McDaniels of the Patriots. Any way you look at it, this coaching search is not going well for them...the only candidates that would be impressive hires are Jim Schwartz and Steve Spagnuolo, and Spagnuolo is a risk because he's only 1 year as a DC..

Re: 'Skins Fire Williams?!
Not only are they now as bad as the orioles (hiring coaches before the head coach can hire his own staff), Now the city they are named for wants them back in their city!

Re: 'Skins Fire Williams?!
That stadium is going on 12 years old. It opened in 1997 (remember the 20-17 win that wasn't as close as the score, played before 30,000 empty seats in the rain? I sure do -- it was my first Ravens away game).
Who is going to cough up a billion dollars? How could Snyder benefit? 10,000 more obstructed view and nose-bleed seats? I would be extremely pissed if Federal funds were used. Or if Snyder uses this as a threat to Maryland to get his retractable dome over FedEx Field -- that is, unless Bisciotti could also parlay a retractable dome for our stadium out of the deal.In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T
came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).
