It Only Took Over a Month...Bedard is a Mariner

So we finally know it's official. A lot of baseball pundits are raving about the package we got for him, but I still find it hard to get excited about dealing off the first pitcher we developed into a legit ace. I know in a couple years, as one pundit put it, we could have the best team in baseball. But we could also still have the same stinky club that didn't develop any of these prospects.
I'm reminded of our trade of Ponson for Moss, Ainsworth, plus 1 more...Ainsworth barely pitched here, Moss was a fat waste, and I don't remember the third player. So in the end, we got NOTHING in that trade. But it was another "trade a good player for prospects" deal...Let's just hope our prospects develop!.
