McCain keeps swinging and missing
His campaign advisors are really digging this guy in 6 feet deep.
First trying to present McCain as the only choice on foreign policy. At which time, Barrack goes on to completely rock europe with a rousing speech on par with Kennedy and Reagan. Meanwhile McCain is at home standing in front of the cheese display stumbling over his own interpretation of the surge.
So they come back and try to attack Obama on domestic budget strategies by sicking Fiorina on him but then McCain recants in G.W. Bush fashion and states raising taxes is certainly an option.
I don't think this guy wants to win. Obama surges to a 9 point lead. McCain looks old and confused.

Re: McCain keeps swinging and missing
While McCain is certainly running a horrible campaign, Obama isnt doing much better.
After the European Obama-gasm, he only got a 4 point bump. Given the amount of love he gets from the MSM, this race shouldnt even be close. Also, Obama has now given 4 very different excuses as to why he would rather get a work out in then visit injured troops.WARNING: This post may contain material offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense and/or supporting factual or anecdotal evidence. Re: McCain keeps swinging and missing
That's pretty significant considering all of the press the surge was getting and McCain's supposedly strength in htis area. For Obama to gain 4 points when McCain was in his wheel house is considerable. What does McCain have left?
keep watching.
The only people who seemd to find this a problem were your boys over at fox...outside of that (which was probably in a memo sent over by W) I think that issue is tractionless.

Re: McCain keeps swinging and missing
4 points is one point off the margin of error. Thats nothing. McCain may or may not have something left -- I really could care less since he isnt my guy anyway. You should be happy, G7. With either McCain or Obama, you get a liberal in the White House.
I do find it interesting that McCain actually went UP in likely voters after the Obama-gasm in Germany.
http://www.usatoday.com/news/politic...-28-poll_N.htm
Exactly. Because the MSM want Obama to win they refuse to question him hard. The lone exception to it is Katie Curick (sp?). She actually had the stones to do her job right and ask the same hard-hitting questions the GOP gets everyday. So the highest rated News network is running with it, millions will see and form an opinion on it yet it has no traction?WARNING: This post may contain material offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense and/or supporting factual or anecdotal evidence. Re: McCain keeps swinging and missing
He didn't get a 4 point bump. He lost ground. Siting RCP average. He left up 5-6 and is now up 3.2. (3 is the margin. Taht makes things a tie) Americans are not as stoopid as some would like to believe.
He(Obama) was only up in a Daily Gallup tracking poll that went back down the very next day. That poll used Registered Voters. The same Gallop regular poll had McCain up. That is the more reliable poll of "likely Voters'.
Keep drinking the Kool Aide Lefty. Barry should be up 20 freaking points right now.

Re: McCain keeps swinging and missing
Apparently you can not comprehend. Gallup had 2 conflicting polls out. I explained it above. One was high and one was not. I explained the mechanics of each poll and why they were different. Do I need to feed you baby food also?
Not to mention the Real Clear average of polls is at 3.2. Again- DOWN from before the trip.
This is why it is often impossible to have a civil conversation with you people.
And a shot at Bert's arm? Uncalled for.lol

Re: McCain keeps swinging and missing
I take it back- RCP ave for Obama dropped since yesterday. From +3.2 to +2.5.
Gallup Tracking Obama +6 (Reg Voters )
USA Today/Gallup McCain +4 Likely Voters-More accurate

Re: McCain keeps swinging and missing
So it's not a big deal that all this guy is interested in doing is winning this election. It seems to me this proves he has no desire to help people other then himself.
As soon as he found out he couldn't turn it into his own press circus, we went back to the ritz and worked out instead. Gotta keep yourself pretty if you want to win the young voters....

Re: McCain keeps swinging and missing
Looks like Rove must be back. It's a shame when politics and campaigning become what it has been for the past 3-4 days.
What does it say about the conservative base when McCain flashes images of Obama consecutively with Paris and Brittney and it "solidifies" the base?
When Faux news shows an image of Osama but "mistakenly" puts under the image the name of Obama and this "solidifies" the base?
When Hannity and Billo The Clown flash images for two nights in a row of Ludicrous and Obama and ramp of the language from really no connection at all to finally Ludicrous being part of Obama's circle...that Obama "surrounds" himself with these types? and that Obama might want to make the "white house black"?
Tweek that amygadala...scare the blue-collar republican base and the god-fearing ultra-right. Here we go again.
It will be interesting to see if the democrats respond differently this time. If not we will have four more years of rumbling....bumbling.....stumbling....
By the way, who is Laura Engram? Did they get rid of Annie in place of her? Boy, she even made Billo the clown look like an Obama sympathizer last night.

Re: McCain keeps swinging and missing
So portraying Obama as the empty suit he is is evil? But Obama playing race scare tactics with his def jam posse is just fine? Thank you Capt Kos. What's next-Cheering Bob Novak's brain tumor?
Obama's friends and admirer's list just keeps getting better.
New Ludacris Song:
... with a slot in the president's iPod Obama shattered 'em
Said I handled his biz and I'm one of his favorite rappers
... Hillary hated on you, so that bitch is irrelevant.
... paint the White House black and I'm sure that's got 'em terrified
McCain don't belong in ANY chair unless he's paralyzed
http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2008/07...e=search_story
Nice to see the Obama campaign(Not Obama) has condemned the Ludacris song. Too bad he has had other photo ops praising the rapper and once claimed to have Ludacris in heavy rotation on his iPod. As usual, he wants it all ways.
And some wonder why race is becoming an issue? Heck of a way to sure up those middle aged women voters he needs in W Va and Penn. Those that voted for Clinton.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Politics: John McCain dares to suggest Barack Obama is all style and no substance, a celebrity like Britney Spears. Meanwhile, the post-racial candidate hits the GOP with the race card, baby, one more time.
... If this sounds familiar, it echoes remarks Obama made in Jacksonville, Fla., earlier this year. "We know what campaign they're going to run. They're going to try to make you afraid," Obama said at a fundraiser. "They're going to try to make you afraid of me. He's young and inexperienced, and he's got a funny name. And did I mention he's black?"
Obama is young and inexperienced. There will be no adoring crowds chanting his name at 3 a.m. in the White House. The real issue is not the color of Barack Obama's skin, but the thickness of it. If you can't stand the heat, put down the arugula and get out of the kitchen.

Re: McCain keeps swinging and missing
No doubt the Brittney ad is horrible.
But the Ludacris stuff is just as bad -- and right out of the Clinton play book of having someone say the bad stuff so it can be denied / condemned.
And what Fox is doing is nothing different from all the other MSM outlets (if its accurate; I see you got your news from Media Matters again). First, O'Reilly and Hannity are opinion shows and, shocker, they lean right. Do you expect them to be cheerleaders for Obama? I would no sooner expect them to be pro-Obama then would expect Keith over at PMSNBC to be pro-GOP. See, that's the problem with Media Matters and you seen to fall for it -- they cooment on opinion based shows and say its a right-wing bias in news coverage. Even the MRC doesnt go that far. If anyone gets their news from these sources, they should shoot themselves in the face.
Second, I seem to recall Cheney being the victim of very similar gaffes by the MSM -- red x's over his face, the word Satan appearing under his picture, etc.WARNING: This post may contain material offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense and/or supporting factual or anecdotal evidence. Re: McCain keeps swinging and missing
O'Reilly has been more then fair to Obama and Clinton before him. What Kos fan doesn't say is that he singled out Ingram and her weekly segment. She is a conservative. That just happened to be her slot.
Yea I know - We can't have that.
The other night I was irked when the whole show was Obama fest '08.
And what is wrong with the JM Ad? It's about time he started calling the guy what he is- An empty suit.
