    Culpepper Retires

Now all that talk about us getting Culpepper can finally end.

The Love Boat sails off into the sunset.

I think he will get anothe rerun. When Billick is back in the NFL coaching he is going to bring Kyle and Daunte in for a workout. Give the job to Kyle after a sham competition and tell Daunte he is the BQ of the future.

    Did anyone read his letter?

What a freakin baby that guy is.

    Completely clueless too.

    Re: Culpepper Retires

I think his cluelessness is what ultimately did him in. He apparently had a much higher opinion of himself than most, if not all, of the teams in the league did.

The sad part is, he's better than the options we currently have on our M.A.S.H. unit of a QB roster...

    UNLEASH THE BEASTS!!!!

I think not having an agent represent him really did him in.
I think he was kind of black balled due to that.
In some ways, the NFL is still part of the "Good Ol' Boys" network and not playing by the system didn't sit real well.

Culpepper has his short comings, but I got to believe in a QB starved league, teams would at least look at him over guys like Harrington, etc.

Randall Cunningham did not have an agent when he signed with the Ravens, if memory serves. But then again, he wasn't an idiot.
