Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
And just wait, tomorrow, we will be labeled as "terrible", the Steelers will be labeled as "amazing"
Nothing about the fact that we made them win it in OT. Nothing about hanging in and coming back to tie

This game is the melt down. We will be 2-3 going into Miami.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
Well we played a good game. We just need another receiver and I think we'll be fine.

That Jarrett Johnson penalty really changed the whole outcome of this game.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
pyite, I don't share your pessimism.
Call me crazy, I think we play this type of close game against the Titans next week, and maybe we pul out a win after Harbaugh rips this team a new one.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
the worst part is I have to get up in 5 hours now...and we didn't get the damn WIN!
aggh, I blame this one squarely on our D...our o had some issues with that fumble for a TD, but the D let Holmes get a TD, the D had the big penalties, the D let them keep coming back and getting the OT FG.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
I agree, that penalty was a dagger. ESPN is singing the praises of us on SportsCenter, though. I think we will be ok next week against the Titans. It will be another slobbernocker.

I saw Tenn play in Nashville this weekend, they are much better than the Steelers. We are in trouble.
Damn you for getting my hopes up...- Section 133 for eternity!

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
he got a loss, but Flacco is just looking more and more like the QB he should be EVERY week.
He stepped it up, made the tough throws, and FINALLY got a passing TD. His first road game, and he came away with a pretty good stat line.
Meanwhile, Matt Ryan STILL can't get it done on the road.
I think Flacco has won this job, beyond any shadow of a doubt..

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
we played Tennessee tough the last time we faced them and got the win...wasn't it last year?
Yes, they are playing tough, but I think Harbaugh will motivate us to play with more of a hunger now that we took a loss. Flacco keeps getting better and looked his best against a tough Steelers D.
We may lose that one, but my opinion is the same as I had for this game...We might lose, but it'll be close, and we have a chance...

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Steelers
Wrong....Big Ben changed the outcome of this game, Not to mention the fact that Cmac can't tackle worth a damn, and our Special Teams gave up field position in overtime. Big Ben showed why he is probably the Top QB in the NFL - we couldn't stop him when it counted the most...Period!!!
