Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals
1st and goal from the 6, McClain gets 1.
2nd and 5, McClain loses 1-2. Bengals all over that. Ravens need to use some more inventive playcalling here.
3rd and goal from the 6.5, Flacco, QB keeper designed, gets to the 3. Sigh.
6-0.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals
That 2nd & goal run was a waste. That should have been PA, all the pre-snap movement had the Bengals D all over the place.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals
Holt gets a solid return, disappointing coverage.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals
1st, Benson gets 7 yards on the rush.
2nd and 3, Benson again, this time loses 1. No gain if he's lucky.
3rd and 3.5, Suggs bats it down AGAIN! Defense really looking dominant today.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals
Damn, ANOTHER tip! This time Suggs in action.
It's only a matter of time. And good because if something doesn't change soon we may need the defense to score some points or blank the Bengals.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals
Flacco needs to be more decisive there, if he's going to run, then run, if not then throw it away.
Needless loss.
Good regain on yards by McClain.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals
1st from the 16, Flacco avoids the rush, looks long, decides to run to the sidelines and loses 1. Weird.
2nd and 11, McClain runs forward strong and gets 9.
3rd and 2, McClain only gets 1.
Some REALLY puzzling playcalls from Cam today.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals
And that stuff there magnifies the "sack."

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals
I agree Sephy. I am not sure what Cam is thinking today. Our offense, outside of that one pass to Clayton, has really looked a little flat.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals
We need to do more with that goddamn run blitz. Gotta burn them over the top. It is the only way to stop it.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals
I'm happy to see they are using McClain, but it's becoming predicitable fast. Cam seems a little off today.

1st from the 38 for Cincy, screen to Housh, covered by Ngata gets about 6.
2nd and 5, Benson gets 1.
3rd and 4, Fitz's arm hit as he throws by JJ, and it flutters incomplete.
Scott is down.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals
On the plus side the blitz is working today.
Damn, Scott down.

Looked like some sort of shoulder thing based on what they were doing. He seems OK, though.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals
I agree, the play calling so far is poor. I think they are trying to win this game as conservatively as possible but right now, its not working.

Re: GAME THREAD - Ravens/Bengals
If Clev can handle indy and Ne handles pittspuke this could be a good day for the ravens
