Re: Washington Exhibition
Vincent got DESTROYED. That was almost comical how bad he got beat.
''You'd love to go on the first day but I'm glad for the situation I'm in,'' he said. ''Baltimore knows how to play defense.''

Re: Washington Exhibition
Vincent will be replaced sometime this season, I am sure. Mike Flynn might be as well.

Koch with a GREAT punt from the endzone!

The Buc's defensive line will eat him alive.

Re: Washington Exhibition
With Chester playing center, it looks as if the coaching staff has no vision of Jason Brown being a legitimate backup at that position. Do they want him to be a guard instead??
Sam Koch is getting good lengths on his punts this game

Re: Washington Exhibition
I know, sad to say! I mean just think, Joe Salavae' (whatever his name is) was a scrap heap defensive lineman for us a couple years ago who didn't make the final cut, and is going up against Vincent.

Re: Washington Exhibition
Since Koch is stepping up, it will free an extra spot for someone on the 53 man squad -- Rod Green?

Re: Washington Exhibition
Read Mike Preston's latest blog posted about 8:15 this evening. It was regarding Flynn and how he might be replaced by Brown if he struggles. I think they are just working them at each position. Afterall, Vincent and Flynn could be replaced by both Chester and Brown.

Good lord, they're sitting there ranting about Heap being in and he ISN'T EVEN IN.
This broadcast team sucks so much.

Re: Washington Exhibition
It makes sense to get both Chester / Brown playing time. However, it seems that Jason Brown is more of a pure center than Chester, who might be better suited to play guard.
They have got to get more youth on the line this year -- I'd be looking for increased rotation on the o-line even from the first game to get the young guys some time.

Boy, haven't seen that before. Clarence open as a WR will ever get and Boller overthrows.

Re: Washington Exhibition
I really hate to say this, but Brown and Chester are not ready for primetime.

Re: Washington Exhibition
And Vincent and Flynn are ready for prime time? Chester looks good.
Clarence was open and should have caught that ball. Boller's pass wasn't exactly on the money but it was catchable for a guy who is 6'6''.
