With 9 minutes left in the Giants/Eagles game, it looks like the hometeam with the first round Bye could lose for the third time in a row.

Seems like a precedent being set.

Wow. That makes me COMPLETELY unafraid of the NFC now. If we win next week, I think we are Super Bowl Champs.

i have an odd fear of the cardinals. hopefully it was just the panthers really sucked but if Fitz. and Warner get hot...yikes.

Agreed.....if we were to get Arizona in the SB we'd better get Warner on his ass ASAP. We won't be stupid like the Panthers and forget how to run the ball either....

I watched the Panthers/Cardinals game. Jake Delhomme gets full credit for that game. As Deion said afterwards, Delhomme played like hot garbage.

It was a day even our worst QB's would never have had. The AP called it "stunningly ugly".

I don't fear the Cardinals yet.

You don't worry about the Eagles? They were in that game when Reid benched McNabb. They're playing hungry right now and just whooped up on the Giants.....

I was thinking that the two teams in the playoffs that could give our defense the most problems were the Colts and the Cards. But I remember thinking, at least AZ is going to get stomped by the Falcons. And then I was thinking yesterday, at least AZ is going to get stomped by the Panthers.

The bottom line is that Pittsburgh fans will hurt more if they lose this game than the next game. And Tomlin still won't have won a playoff game.
