I can't turn on NFL Network's Total Access =0o
since we lost to the Steelers...I have tried, but I can't bear to watch another film clip with them beating us in the AFC Championship game and that's all they seem to show
Every time I turn on NFL Network, they show highlights and footage from that cold January day up in Pissburg that I want to forget about forever....I can't turn on any other sports channels either without seeing film clips of Troy Polamolu taking that interception in for a touchdown or Joe Flacco getting sacked from the backside by a Sqeeler tird
Makes me feel like
I feel so lonely without the Ravens
Am I alone?

Since the Ravens loss I haven't been in a "football mood". At this point I don't even watch ESPN or NFL Network, they will only talk about the Squeelers anyway. I am almost thinking about going to the movies instead of watching the SB. I want this to be over with so we can get on with the Combine, draft, and then training camp. I'm sooo depressed.

I'm with you guys. I haven't watched any of the sports stations or gone to any of the sports sites (save this one). My heart's not in it. I'm not an NBA or NHL guy so really what else is there? And if the Steelers win, I don't know how much longer it'll be until I tune in.
And don't get me started on Gary and the Terps....

Re: I can't turn on NFL Network's Total Access =0o
It took me about a week to even kind of get over that game. For a week I wanted nothing to do with anything football related. I'm a big Caps fan so that's really helped, particularly in avoiding ESPN (or as I now like to call it: Entertainment and Steeler Programming Network) since they never show any hockey highlights anyway. Alas, that leads me to Comcast Sportsnet, which is great for providing Caps coverage but for the most part is a Redskins-slanted network. Nonetheless, they had been giving the Ravens some love (which really pissed people in DC off!) for this playoff run. Then today came the dagger: They had a piece on a bunch of Shee-ler fans in Baltimore. Thankfully they teased it before the piece came on and I went to make my lunch because if I had watched that I might have gone all Keith Moon on my own house, lol.
I have zero plans to be anywhere near a TV on Sunday. I hope it works out for some friends of mine who are Cards fans but I'm not watching. I'm with you ravensrulz, just get this B.S. game over with and get on to the draft.

Re: I can't turn on NFL Network's Total Access =0o
I'm so happy about the season we've had that I don't mind seeing the highlights of the Squeelers winning that game.
It makes me that much more fired up for training camp to arrive so that we can get through the preseason and redeem ourselves.
It hurts, yes. But pain is temporary. Pride is forever.
I will never hide my Ravens Pride, thus I still get dirty looks when I drive around Southern California with my Ravens Magnets and Flags prominently displayed on my vehicle.
It's my way of non-verbally "flipping the bird" to anyone who thinks I should be rooting for the Piss and Yellow Trailpark Bastards.

I've shut down for most ESPN/NFL as well. Hate seeing Pittsburgh this and that.

Re: I can't turn on NFL Network's Total Access =0o
I have also changed my TV watching habits. I just can't bear to see all the Steelers clips. Like Ravenous, I proudly wear my Ravens gear around Colorado Springs all the time, and am really happy about the season we've had this year. The disappointment about the AFC championship loss is still there, particularly as it was the Steelers that beat us. But I have a lot of hope for the future. That Joe Cool won the Diet Pepsi ROY was at least some recognition.
Although the Steelers are in the SB, I'm still going to watch it, and hope that Arizona can finish what they started. Go Cards!

I have not watched ESPN (or any other sports network) once since the Ravens' game, and that's saying a lot because it usually consumes most of my viewing time. I just don't want to hear the shit. I don't need to see the national media drooling over the Squealers...again. It's sickening, really.

I recorded the game on DVD and promptly threw it away as I do with all Ravens losses. The ravens are undefeated in my collection.
