April '09 - Wall Street's best month in 9 years
Obama that fucking socialist!
NEW YORK — April was Wall Street's best month in nine years _ offering some of the most powerful evidence yet that maybe, just maybe, the economy is about to begin a turnaround.
The Standard & Poor's 500 index, considered the most reliable measure of the broader market, climbed 9.4 percent in April, its best performance since March 2000, the peak of the dot-com bubble

Who would have ever known that the stock market would respond so well to the bolsevik-socialist-communist-fascist-Nazi takeover of America?
All in less than 100 days???
Geeez he must be the Messiah, could there be any other explanation?

What the hell are you babbling about now Trap?
What does my post about you having poor reading comprehension have to do with Wall Street having a good month?“I already believe I am the best linebacker in the game. Now, I have to show one more thing ? That I am the most dominating, influential person in the game and the best football player to ever put on a pair of cleats.” -Ray Lewis

Re: April '09 - Wall Street's best month in 9 years
if you expand any gov't by 2 trillion in borrowed dollars then in the short term , that nations stock market will explode. Un fortunately down the road we are looking at massive hyper inflation as the gov't is forced to print even more money to pay the debts being created now,,,, I am a manager of a bank, and when I order cash for reserves, I almost never get anything but brand new bills. The gov't is expanding m1 at a frighteningly fast pace that cannot continue,,, god help us all

This is great...A banker complaining about Obama spending. Now I know conservatives are only out to oppose Obama irregardless of making sense.
This one goes up there with the 95% of the teabaggers complaining about the tax cut Obama just gave them.
Make sense folks! Use your head...its that little round thing sitting on top of your shoulders. Use it! You might like it the way it feels when your thoughts align with reality.

Re: April '09 - Wall Street's best month in 9 years
INflation is a real thing, and it WILL hurt EVERYONE.
Most teabagger's aren't getting a tax cut. That $400/ person will be paid back by most people due to the reduction of allowable deductions.
We ask you to use your head. What good will spending several TRILLION dollars you don't have will do NO GOOD. It's simple. It really is. Common sense is what lost in the election of November '08.

Say this three times to yourself, "When no one spends money recessions turn into depressions"We ask you to use your head. What good will spending several TRILLION dollars you don't have will do NO GOOD. It's simple. It really is. Common sense is what lost in the election of November '08.

Re: April '09 - Wall Street's best month in 9 years
God Galen... you're such a retard lib douche.
Don't you know its only going up because of increased consumer confidence?
Somehow this is all part of Obama's (or should I say, THE ANTICHRIST'S) scheme to force honest God-fearin' Americans to give up our guns, convert to Islam, get gay married, have gay-bortions, shut down the interweb, and let the terrorists win.Experts suggest there are a number of factors which may be improving Americans' view on the economy, ranging from the passage of President Obama's stimulus package to an improving stock market and lower prices on consumer goods.
"Consumers are noting the better financial-market conditions and that's removing some of the panic that had ensued last fall," Dean Maki of Barclays Capital told Bloomberg. "Consumers are becoming less anxious and therefore a bit more willing to spend."
Typical liberal elitism on your part. You dirty liberal fuck face.
Also, I have it good authority that Obama caused the Swine Flu.“I already believe I am the best linebacker in the game. Now, I have to show one more thing ? That I am the most dominating, influential person in the game and the best football player to ever put on a pair of cleats.” -Ray Lewis

Ir may be rare because I think we are all in agreement The stock maket is rising, that is good, and the reasoning behind it, is that people are thinking the bottom has occurred. They are hoping for a nice gradual upslope back to the actual value of the stocks.
People had better get their cash our of cash type investments and into assets like stocks and precious metals.

whatever elfie...you can only call people names because you know you ass is kicked. Everyone even said that that was true on the other thread about Boller last year. I posted the links on the thread about Preston and everyone laughed at you. But you just called me names and everyone said you were wrong. Go back to your sandbox.
You even said that Wall Street numbers were improving because people were hopeful about the economy. That shows how dumb you are but you can only call me names. You said yourself you know nothing about the economy and everyone agreed. I proved that....see the links I posted below.

Re: April '09 - Wall Street's best month in 9 years
April was the pendulum swinging from the irrationally bad January. I think most will agree the market tanked FAR too hard in January, and now ha da nice rebound. ONce the market makes a real reboud, the money starts flowing back into the system as confidence increases.
Don't forget it's still down 30% from it's 52 wk high..Last edited by jonboy79; 05-05-2009 at 11:31 AM.

Re: April '09 - Wall Street's best month in 9 years
EFFO lies about the pissing slipper
Here is the evidence Blah, Blah, Blah ad infinitum. Galen and Roach started all the name calling, and EFFO joined in. God controls my typing.
I've been getting my ass kicked all over this board. Every one here is laughing at me. I know nothing about economics.. I've proved you wrong and every one knows it. You are the only one who cares about gay marriage. Libs, Dems, Hilly, the messiah, Oby the commie, Nazi Pelosi. I have an elephant's memory. God will throw you out of the sandbox. I've been forgotten by God. All this in one post......
Someone is losing it.....(said liltingly)

Re: April '09 - Wall Street's best month in 9 years
I didn't even know this board existed during the whole Katrina deal.
A. Please identify the post in which I implicated Bush in Katrina. Or
B. Retract the statement. Or
C. Admit you're a fucking liar.
I think you're going to go with option
D. Spout some semi-literate nonsense about how you struck a nerve, try to deflect the fact that you clearly have no idea what your babbling about back onto me somehow, and then repost the goddamn puppy quote ad nauseum.“I already believe I am the best linebacker in the game. Now, I have to show one more thing ? That I am the most dominating, influential person in the game and the best football player to ever put on a pair of cleats.” -Ray Lewis

Wow... that blows my mind.
.... Just wow.
Seriously Trap, show me where I said one word about Bush and Katrina or admit that you're a fucking liar.
Or that you don't know what you're talking about.
I'm fine with any of the above.“I already believe I am the best linebacker in the game. Now, I have to show one more thing ? That I am the most dominating, influential person in the game and the best football player to ever put on a pair of cleats.” -Ray Lewis
