Ravens, Titans and Other NFL’ers Gather in Baltimore for A Good Cause

Hi guys I am new here… I just joined to pass the word on this event, and hope you all will come out or show your support (although I've been enjoying myself and posting around here).

Jason Murphy is a Baltimore Native who plays for Tennessee … He attended Edmondson HS and was the Baltimore Sun’s Defensive Player of the Year in ’01. He also still resides in Maryland.
Jason’s foundation, Holding the Line, benefits underprivileged youth in the Baltimore area. The NFL helps players who want to hold football camps for youth in their hometown, so Jason holds a NFL Youth Football Camp which is FREE to the kids who sign up. This year he has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Maryland and they are the chief beneficiaries.

The Meet & Greet Cocktail reception is Friday May 29th,2009 at the Hyatt Hotel Rooftop Lounge. There are great drinks, a really nice silent auction with tons of sports and restaurant stuff (as well as Ravens tickets being raffled). The Camp is May 30th at Edmondson High School.

Oh One more thing I thought I’d add. Even though the guys are super competitive rivals during the season, many of them are very good friends. Jason & Joe have the same agent and are very cool… Here is a picture from a few weekends ago of Jason & Vince Young, supporting Mark Clayton’s Charity Golf Tournament in Palm Beach. It’s all love in the offseason.
